Kohler entered the plumbing business in 1883. The first enameled cast-iron bathtub was a horse trough with claw foot legs. Legend has it, this tub sold for 1 cow and 14 chickens. And we've been busy perfecting the design ever since. It has always been our mission to master the ergonomics underlying the creation of a comfortable, accessible bath experience.
