One-piece Bathtub With Apron
The one-piece, built-in bathtub with integral apron is Kohler's first aesthetic innovation. Its development is considered almost revolutionary in the industry, opening the door to the evolution of the bathtub as we know it today. Until then, built-in baths were cast in two sections-the tub proper and the apron, or exposed side-which were fitted together by the plumber when installed. The one-piece tub was more sanitary and attractive, eliminating all joints and seams.
