The Kohler electric sink, a forerunner of the automatic dishwasher that would become commonplace 20 years later, is introduced. The enameled cast iron sink and dishwasher combination is massive and expensive - and a generation ahead of its time. The Kohler electric clotheswasher debuts shortly thereafter.
