This product failed a month after purchase. I spent the extra money on Kohler because it was being installed on granite making it difficult to replace. Kohler did send me the cartridge for free but I’m worried that that is exactly what it’s worth. Nothing. Now I have to get a plumber for another $150 to fix it because I can’t get it apart. And for what? Another month. It will be cheaper to replace the whole faucet to a company that does not sell to HD. Hopefully I will only have to pay for it once. Very disappointed in both

Built to satisfy vendor. Design disaster

I purchased 2 of these bathroom faucets 10 months ago but didn't install them until a few months ago. Unlike the also recently purchased Kohler kitchen faucet, the handles are best described as spongy and vague. The shut off (both hot and cold) isn't positive.....the water flow shuts off but the handles try to return to the "on" position. And when in the "off" position, the handles don't align with each other on both units.  Very happy with the kitchen faucet .... very disappointed with the bathroom faucets.

I bought two of these (Capilano Monoblock) in black in November 2021 for a Jack & Jill bathroom remodel. I’ve bought a LOT of Kohler, I like the quality, which has always been great. However, these two faucets have left me very disappointed, and the only defective products I’ve ever had from Kohler. Like I’ve seen on other reviews, the handles won’t stay in position, they bind up and eventually turn themselves on. Not good at all. At $140-ish each, it’s not acceptable. I’m likely out $300 bucks. But sadly, I’m also likely out a brand I’ve enjoyed for years! I’ve probably spent close to $10k on Kohler items over the last 6 years while fixing up our house. Never a problem. From toilets to tubs to faucets and hardware. I thought mine might’ve been a fluke, a margin of error item. But seeing others making the exact same comments on other items in the family that look like this one, I’m thinking paying upper end dollars on Kohler may not be a wise move anymore, and might need to shift to a different brand.
