The black coating has come off around the faucet opening in less than a year, and the aerator is almost impossible to replace.

Black Kohler Cusiva Faucet

Bought this item on approx. 8-10-2025 (Rectangular aerator) over paid at HD $139 + tax,  installed 8-13-2025 - next day Aerator is causing the water to go all over the place.    Started chat...lost contact with customer service and then re-contact attempt was too busy.    Kohler website item with tool is out of stock and I am now very unhappy with the purchase and customer service non-options.

Very nice looking faucet and very easy to install.  However, the aerorater (or whatever) is a travesty.   Sprays water everywhere but the sink.  Horrible design.  After just a few weeks we will be replacing in two bathrooms we just had installed .

The faucet installs very easily and looks great. I was really impressed by the consistent pressure it produced. Nothing I’ve ever seen before and quickly realized how great that’s going to be when using the faucet with cold, hot, or both on.

I purchased this faucet for a bathroom renovation after looking through many faucets at Home Depot and Lowe's. This faucet is truly beautiful but once it was installed, the problems started. Uneven water flow. The hot water was not flowing at the same speed and volume as the cold water. Then I ordered a new aerator direct from Kohler. To add insult to injury, it cost $28 with tax and shipping and took eight (8) days for the aerator to arrive. When the aerator finally arrived on 8/17/2022, the real work started to change out the existing aerator. It was a real pain to get the old aerator out and the new one in and took about 30 minutes. And then to find out the water flow did not improve to match the cold water side. I even called a licensed plumber $125 to come and determine if my water pressure had a problem. The plumber had 20 years of experience and told me there was nothing wrong with my water pressure and suggested a different faucet. Because I no longer have the original box that this one came in, returning it to Home Depot isn't an option. Suffice it to say that I spent more time than it should have and now I am faucet shopping again and although I like Kohler's product line, I feel like I shouldn't trust Kohler again. I have not reached out to Kohler since I don't feel they would really help other than apologizing for my bad experience with their product and unless they would let me choose a different model that they would exchange without charging me more money, what's the point? I've already spent the money on a faucet I can't use and $125 on a plumber to tell me nothing was wrong with my water pressure.
