its disappointing. the faucet cartridge is leaking after one year and I am trying to replace it but it stuck and I can not open it

Cartridge broken

We own several high end houses and I have always specified Kohler products when building or remodeling.  I installed Forte faucets in all 5 baths of a house and in one of the baths the nickel finish started peeling off the bell housing on the faucets.  (no, it was not the result of abrasive cleaning).  What was really disappointing was when I contacted Kohler, I was abruptly told that all Kohler was responsible for was the working of the faucet, not the finish.  The rep was very rude and offered no solutions at all.  I would have thought that they would have been very interested in learning why the finish was peeling off of one of their higher priced products, but they were not.  Needless to say, I will no longer be purchasing Kohler products.

Very disappointed in the product and especially with Kohler
