Love the style and easy cleaning.   However, there must have been a large particle from my well and now is causing the water to split when turned on.  Any idea how to remove filter at faucet end once the screw is removed?

I have owned the faucet about two years, the aerator needs to be replaced.  Kohler does not sell an aerator.  Stay away from this faucet and stay away from Kohler products!

Poor Quality and No Parts

This is the worst product I’ve ever bought from Koehler!  Stay away…you will regret this purchase.  They intentionally designed this faucet to be unserviceable.  Don’t be fooled by the replacement cartridges.   The flow rate on this faucet is simply unacceptable.  I’m sure they will inform me that it has a max flow rate of 1.2 gal per minute.  Yep,  I already know that: I’ve replaced both valves, cleaned the stream breaker on the spout.  Checked for calcium buildup, checked for kinked connector hoses.  There is nothing left to check or service.  I’ll never purchase a Kohler product again.

I bought this awhile back and the water flow was terrible I tried to remove the aerator and you have to use tweezers to try to pull it out. It was so difficult that it broke the aerator. They sent a replacement and the flow was no better. Then they sent a replacement faucet and it was installed. Turns out it’s the black hoses that kink and significantly reduce flow. This is a terrible design. I’d like to exchange it for something different without the black hoses a Y connector. Very disappointed customer service.

After less than two weeks the stopper would not stay down and keeps popping up! I hate to remove the entire faucet and stopper to return it so I guess I am stuck with buying another brand of stopper because don’t trust the  Kohler brand now. I’ve seen other reviews concerning the same issue!

Love the look but not the stopper

The design is beautiful however the pop up drain is not. It collects hair and debris in the grooves of the drain and causes a foul odor and needs to be cleaned out frequently.

We have a K-R22477-4D. It has horrible water flow. After a while the aerator badly clogged. The only way to remove it is with needle nose pliers which also damages it. Kohler sent a replacement aerator #1307522 which made the flow even worse. Maybe 3 GPM at best. Horrible design with the rectangular aerator! The included 'popup drain cap' stopped staying down after a couple months. Very incomplete instructions on how to address the problem.

This Maxton installed 1.5 years ago.  Water flow was weak intially, but is now too low to be useful.  I have seen others on the internet have issues with the flow restrictor in the 4" single piece faucet, but I have seen no solutions for this wide handle faucet.  I would not suggest purchasing this faucet.  It looks nice, but does miss the mark for being a water faucet.

I installed three of these faucets recently to match other Kohler bathroom accessories and was immediately disappointed.  Certainly these are quite attractive and elegant faucets with seemingly solid spout and handles.  However, the pressure is dismal resulting in an unsatisfying and arguably unusable water stream; even after opening both valves fully.  Also, the provided supply hoses appear to be made out of stiff plastic and are prone to kinks when bending during installation; once kinked the hoses don’t fully return to their original shape further reducing water flow.  Lastly, the finish is susceptible to very noticeable water marks and the faucets are constantly looking unclean.  Unless you are hooked by the looks, recommend looking elsewhere.
