My fault for missing the measurement, but I'm not sure how people are making these work. The 6.25" spout makes it incredibly difficult to not have water splashing out of your sink. 

I thought this might be an issue when I purchased, but double checked and noticed that Kohler claimed to sell the spout in 3 different sizes. OK backup options. Turns out none of the other promised spouts exist, at least in Matte black (fairly common color) , Service part #'s 1014555 and 1014556. So the Kohler rep that posted that there were other options in the previous "miniature" review is incorrect. 

There only other option that would improve my issue, although It was not the style I wanted is the 90 degree spout, 1015783, which interestingly Kohler charges the same amount for as the entire faucet cost me.

MINIATURE spout will not work with most standard size sink / vanity installs

We had to replace the original purist widespread wall mount faucet and trim purchased in 2014. All replacements (exterior faucet and interior cartridges) were available and exact to update our bathroom

Not sure if its the way the handles were installed or not, but they aren't perfectly straight when they are turned off. It's a little disappointing.

Bought a pair for a double vanity originally from Lowes.  You could feel the quality just by the weight of the faucet and handles.  Unfortunately, they arrived with some deep marks well beyond the matte black finish that were likely caused at the factory during production.  I had to return and ordered a second pair directly from Kohler that arrived in good condition.  Did not realize on purchase that you also have to buy the valve kit K-410-K-NA... An added expense and a delay on the day of install for an already over budget set of faucets. I did my own backsplash tiles and found that you were only given and 1/8" of space from the pipe to the valve trim meaning all three holes had to be exactly perfect with very little play.  My plumber spent an hour trying to get the handles to line up the same (hopefully parallel) stop position and was unable to do so as the adjustments were such that it was in increments of 2 degrees or so and each had a different starting point. I can get them to line up if I adjust in from a degree or so from the stop position - as per the photo without the water starting to run.  After about 4 months of use, some of the matte black has worn through on the very edge of one of the handles.
I have contacted Kohler customer service three times to ask where I could leave a rating and share the experience and each time I just get back a one question email survey to rate my experience.  As such, I am leaving this one the US site (I'm from Canada) that allows reviews.
