I bought 3 Kohler Simplice Single-Handle 1.2 gpm faucets from FergusonHome.com, an authorized Kohler dealer.  The first faucet installed very easily (first faucet I ever changed in my life, too).  The other 2 faucets, though, I couldn't get the aerators out. I installed them anyway, but no water flowed.  I took them to the local Ferguson supply warehouse and the salesperson confirmed they were faulty.  I communicated with FergusonHome and they sent out 2 new faucets.  And, the aerators wouldn't come out. It seems like the plastic housing is stripped or not attached to the faucet properly.  The key will turn the aerator, but it also turns the plastic. So it can't be removed. I had a plumber over giving me an estimate for other work and he agreed that these latest two were also defective.  At that point, with 4 out of 5 faucets being faulty, I gave up and asked for a refund. I'm going to try the Moen faucet I had in my previous house instead.  I really liked the Kohler push down drain which is why I initially went with Kohler over Moen.

Faulty aerators in 4 out of 5 faucets

This is a heavy, seemingly well built faucet. The handle works smoothly. Buyer beware 1.2 gpm is a weak flow. This is good for powder room or guest bath or children, not for primary bath.

Quality, modern faucet.

I like the height of this faucet. I like it's one piece spout. We like the click drain. Highly recommend.
