I like the look of this faucet.  I had it installed on my new marble counter top yesterday.  However, the handle bases feel like they are plastic compared to the heavier weight of the spout base.  If I could do it over I would have chosen a better quality product.  Disappointed in the quality.

That dude is right about the screw. It’s too short and loc tite ain’t gonna solve the problem. A wobbly faucet is giving cheap vibes and is a total disappointment for this bathroom remodel.

I purchase only Kohler products; warranty, pieces of art and easy to install and forget.

I purchased two Venza fixtures from Kohler, one chrome one matte black. The faucets were professionally installed. They look great but there were problems with both. Adjusting the spread handles on the black faucet left the base of the faucet handles not completely flush (even) with the base of the spout. The problem is not with the holes in the sink, the problem is with the threading on the handles. The chrome fixture arrived with a damaged connection valve. The valve is a cheaply made plastic fitting. According to my plumber the part used to be made from brass. Based on other reviews failure of this part is not uncommon. Kohler was quick to offer a replacement but this has delayed completion of the sink.

We installed four of these faucets throughout our new house, along with all matching Venza bathroom trims, and are now dealing with a disaster. This faucet has a clear design defect as it is currently being sold: the tiny screw in the back that holds together the two piece design (which is a mechanical point of failure that clearly wasn't subjected to proper failure modes and effects analysis before being sent to market) backs itself out of the socket and loosens under the usual vibration from water pressure. When the screw backed itself out too far, the faucet exploded, shooting the upper piece up to the ceiling, hitting the ceiling, bouncing off our light fixture, and nearly hit my wife in the face. Pictures attached were taken right after this explosion; you can see the water on the ceiling and the mirror from this total product failure, and you can see the idiotically tiny screw that is supposed to hold this thing together and popped itself out. We checked the other three Venza faucets in our house and two of the three of them had a loose screw already. They have been installed for less than three months. Our plumbers screwed the screw back in and suggested the screw might have been loose when it arrived from Kohler, and six weeks later the same faucet exploded again. They are not safe. 

We are likely going to have to replace these faucets, which means replacing our entire bathroom fixture set if we want our fixtures to match, as everything we installed was matched to Kohler's Venza line. I strongly recommend nobody consider these faucets and that Kohler take this dangerous product off the market. We are very fortunate my wife wasn't brushing her teeth or otherwise leaning over the sink when it exploded or it could have broken her jaw or worse.
