Looked great after a kitchen and bath remodel 2 years ago bit we can’t get stains off the basin. Water simply does not drain from dimples around the drain. Is this a defect we did not catch?  Blinding in the house this has happened to. We have to run the basin after use to keep it from getting worse.

Basin does not drain properly and stains quickly.

When I built my new house in August 2002, I splurged and purchased Kohler's Memoirs sink, faucet, and toilet for my master bathroom. I have 4 bathrooms in the house and opted for an American Standard sink and less expensive sinks in my other bathrooms. My other sinks all look brand new after 21 years. I have been so disappointed with the Kohler product. I contacted Kohler in 2018 and was told the sink had a one-year warranty and there was nothing they could do. After reading more than 25 reviews sharing the exact same problem I have, it is obvious that there is a real flaw in the firing or making of some of the sinks in this model, I have attached pictures showing the cracks that appeared the first year we owned the sink. They have only gotten worse over the years. The porcelain appears to be flawed with flat spots and cracks around the faucet fixtures and under the spigot. These flat areas now have brown markings and a square brown marking in the center of the sink that cannot be cleaned. When the cracks appeared on the edge of the sink under the spigot where nothing hits or scratches the sink, I felt the flaw was in the materials. The sink continues to deteriorate, I wanted to contact you again to see if anything can be done. I am amazed at all the customers who have had the exact same problem that I have had. Any advice would be appreciated.

Crazing and cracking

This is a beautiful sink basin however the finish began to crack (called crazing) within a short period of time. I contacted Kohler and was told we may have installed, cared for, or used the sink inappropriately.  This was not the case.  My complaint was dismissed without a solution. The crazing has continued to get worse over time.  I have contacted Kohler again asking for a replacement.

Beautiful product but serious quality defect

After only a few years, this sink started to show what I thought of as crackling, but which I've now been told is called "crazing."  I tried Kohler sink cleanser and normal cleansers, but nothing takes it off or even fades it, and now it just looks dirty ALL THE TIME.  I would absolutely NOT recommend buying this sink, and now I'm not sure about any of the Kohler products, because customer service has resisted trying to help me.

Sink is covered with crack marks that can't be removed!

I have 2 Memoir pedestal sinks. Crazing seems to be the issue. I've spoke with 2 great customer service reps. and tried the recommend Kohler cleaner. This did not work.
I understand the warranty is for 1 year. After reading reviews this most definitely is a defect and would think Kohler would want to address this.

As several other reviews have stated, we have some cracking in the glaze in our Memoirs sink.  Although the sink is about ten years old, I would expect more than ten years from a porcelain glaze in a bathroom sink that isn’t used for more than hand washing.  Really disappointed.

Very disappointed in my Kohler Memoirs Stately 30" - Model: K-2269-8-0 bathroom sink.  This sink is only a few years old and already has considerable cracking around the drain as well as in the basin (picture attached).  I thought that the extra expense of a Kohler product would mean much better quality.  Customer service says there is only a one year warranty on this product and suggested I buy a new sink.  I can assure you it won't be a Kohler!

Terrible! Stay away!

This is a beautiful sink! I love the porcelain material and the color is beautiful. Easy to clean but very heavy when trying to put together. 2 people is needed to put the sink together with the legs. After it is together it is stunning with it's shining legs and beautifully made basin!
