I have been interested in this sink for the past 7 months.  However, my local store didn't have any of the Shagreen products to view in Ebony and there are (still) no samples available to see.  Since I had the day off, I called to see if they had it in yet.  They did!  I went to the showroom to view it.  Let me just say this.  It is an absolutely stunning sink and I can hardly wait to order it.  The photos do not do this sink justice.  There are different depths of the ebony color in the sink which makes it very interesting visually.  The texture is not completely smooth, but it's not bumpy either like I thought it would be from the photos.  There are places where it is shinier than others; again, more interest visually.  This is not a plain black sink by any measure.  It is lovely to look at and fun to touch.  It's just a stunning, sink.
