We bought this tub filler as part of a larger re-model. The fixture functions as expected. Installation was clean and solid. The only downside realized upon installation is that the spout is not reversible. So, if you want to put the tub filler on the Front left or right rear of the tub, your handles will be facing away from you and the lettering will not be visible
