The pictures of this tub on this website are showing a nice, smooth underneath. Wear heavy gloves because it is a mess of plywood and sharp fiberglass strands everywhere underneath. The whole base of the tub is constructed of plywood and fiberglass resin and fiberglass strands. It's a good tub. However ,I don't know where they got the one for these pictures, I wish but I wish I had it instead of the one I got.

Misleading pictures. Quality seems okay. Would recommend.

The absolute worst bathtub on the market, please do not waste your money and time. The only good things I can say about it is it looks nice and the slope of the back is a good angle, that’s it. I replaced my old steel bathtub with this as my tub had some chips and an uncomfortable slope at the back. The issues started when I discovered the wall side of the tub was bowed. Not my studs, socket was perfect. Because it was minimal and I was using a backerboard that could be routed I was willing to look past this as it wouldn’t be noticeable with tile. Followed all the directions and set a mortar bed. Leak tested and all seemed fine. Installed perfectly level. Unfortunately, the apron is not level. About 3/16” over 60 in. Yet another quality issue. After putting up backer board and getting ready to tile, I discovered the deck of the tub had cracked. It was not close to the bowed area nor was it over tightened to the studs. Thankfully noticed before setting the tile, but I’m now hours of work behind as I have to remove this tub that was ready for tile and completely start over. I’ll be replacing it with a cast iron tub rather than this flimsy junk. Do better, Kohler.

Waste of time and money

Installed this tub for a client about 2.5 years ago.  Customer now complains of crackling sound when stepping near the sloped edge.  I checked it out and confirmed it.  Very annoying.  Was installed with a mortar bed under it per instructions.  Now I've got to remove the tile surround and replace the tub.  Lots of time and expense for me and disruption for my customer's bathroom.  I wish I had just bought a cheap porcelin tub now!  Customer is a small man!  Not some heavyweight and uses the tub primarily to shower.

Bottom starts making a crackling noise.

The design is sleek and beautiful! The finish is so shiny and appears to be durable. My husband has no issues with the installation. Kohler is our favorite kitchen and bath brand, this product exceeded expectations!

Sleek, beautiful and high end!

This looks likes an amazing tub and have used this brand before unfortunately the product never showed up to be able to review it fully. I did however go buy one with my own money and it is a great tub. It’s huge and great for soaking. It’s durable and easy to clean plus the installation was easy to do.

Great soaking tub

This is a nice bathtub. We’re remodeling so I was lucky to get it. We haven’t been able to install yet I have been waiting on our contractor to come back. But he looked at the tub and said it’s easy to install shouldn’t take no time. Me and my husband can both fit in this tub the reason for 4 stars is because it isn’t as deep as I’d like it to be. Other than can’t wait to use it for all the bubble bath and watching my kids play together

Very wide bath tub  but shallow

The tub is great! It was easy to install into our bathroom renovation. We will finish it with tile along the top. It’s durable and will probably remain in this bathroom for many years. The slant side that you lean onto is nice. The installation process was easy and it fit perfectly into the space we removed the old tub from.

Great tub to purchase for a simple bathroom update!

This bathtub is of great quality. While the installation was easy, the greatest part of this tub is its looks. It's simple yet elegant in design. I personally enjoy the little bit of added texture on the floor, making it harder to slip and fall, while my wife enjoys laying down on the slanted backing. This is definitely one of the more comfortable bathtubs I've had!

I have a 80 year old craftsman style home and when remodeling the bathroom I wanted a classic style tub that fit with the style of the house. This tub has classic clean lines and fits in perfectly with my decor. It was easy to install and I know this Kohler tub will stand the test of time style wise as well as quality wise.
