Tub looks great. However, it’s odd that the drain mounting surface is finished and smooth, but the overflow is rough, requiring caulk or etc to seal.

Why not finish the overflow?

I'm sure this is a great tub. I bought this with the wrong side drain (right-hand instead of need left-hand). Kohler would accept the return, but unfortunately, finding a shipper - as well as the cost of shipping it back to Kohler - was on me (my error in not seeing the mistake in the product number). It would cost as much to send it back as the purchase, so I'm selling it. I did buy the left-hand-drain Kohler product from another supplier since Kohler could not provide it on time. It's a fine tub.

Probably great but wrong drain and return would cost as much as purchase

We purchased this 2 months ago and had a local builder put this in to replace our claw foot tub. Much easier to get in and out of and room to stretch out and experience a true soaker. Looks great, feels great, and is great!
