I have my put in about 3 years ago and started to cracked few months ago, hired some one to fix the crack but we just found another new crack.  Bad Quality.

Do not buy this

We purchased a house about years ago. The entire house was renowned before we moved in and this tub was used in the bathroom.  It even two years later and there are not 1, not 2, but 3 cracks in it. One is about 7 inches, the other 2-3 and then another about a inch. Absolutely no reason this tub should has such issues at being only a couple years old.

Didn’t even last two years, already three cracks.

It took a couple of years, but sure enough . . . cracks in the bed of the tub. Makes me question whether I should ever buy Kohler products again.

Got bit by this crappy tub too!

Bought at Home Depot in Feb ‘19 and hired a professional to do bathroom renovation. Tub started cracking within 6 months. Had no idea Kohler doesn’t stand behind their products. Contacted them and they blamed installation. Coincidentally, tub is no longer sold. It was exclusively made for Home Depot.   A really sad commentary on an old and trusted company.

I bought this tub in June, 2019. Two years later, the bottom of the tub cracked (see photo). I reviewed the installation guide and followed up with the contractor who installed the tub. According to the guide, the tub is either set in mortar or on an apron brace with adhesive. He stated he did not use mortar. I mention that as most other contractors I have talked to about repairing the crack mentioned that a solid base (mortar) is the best option against future cracks. I HATE this situation. Either I repair the tub and hope for no future cracks or replace the tub with another brand. The latter is 10x the cost of the former. I just scared to death of water damage. In any event, this is not a situation any customer would want to have with this product. I am amazed that the same issue has cropped up for other customers over the same period of time.

Bottom Crack

Unfortunately, we also paid to have a complete remodel only to end up with two cracks in the tub a year later. Honestly, the cracks probably started before the year mark, because they don't happen overnight. We paid thousands of dollars to remodel our bathtub/shower stall. Had I just looked at these reviews first, I never would have purchased this tub. I am opening a complaint with Kohler today. Very, very, VERY disappointed. I spoke with the manager at Home Depot where we bought this tub yesterday and showed him the pictures of our cracked tub. I strongly encouraged him to stop selling this tub immediately. Home Depot was awesome about it and thanked me for bringing this to their attention. This is a Kohler issue. They need to discontinue this tub ASAP. No one should ever have to deal with this. :(

Two Cracks in the Tub in One Year

We were excited to get a new tub for our bathroom when we redid it less than 3  years ago. This tub more most expensive at the time than our other options, but we wanted something that was quality and would would last. We thought this tub was the perfect addition and it does look nice. However, the quality is TERRIBLE and less that 3 years later there is a giant crack on the floor/side of the tub. It DOES not last. Don't waste  your money.

I bought this product for renovation I expend $10,000.00 with the installation after 2 years of use since is just me and my wife in the house the bathtub booked it’s got a 7” cracked

Tub cracked after 1 year. We had a licensed contractor for a $10,000 bathroom remodel. Tub was purchased from Home Depot I have the receipts. Submerse 5’ right hand bathtub. Immediately heard creaking and crunching noises during use and occasional snap sounds and 2 days ago noticed a significant crack that is leaking water to underneath tub. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ! Terrible

HORRIBLE! Cracked after 1 year!

I HAD A TOTAL REMODEL DONE BY A REPUTABLE CONTRACTOR WHICH HAVE USED FOR YEARS. 2 YRS LATER I FIND THE TUB SOUNDING LIKE IT IS BREAKING AND CRACKING JUST FROM TAKING A SHOWER. WENT IN MY BASEMENT AND NOTICE WATER DRIPPING FROM WHERE THE TUB IS. LOW AND BEHOLD A CRACK IN THE TUB. CALLED MY CONTRACTOR AND HE SAID I WOULD HAVE TO DO A WARRANTY CLAIM WITH KOHLER. HE SWORE HE NEVER HEARD OF A TUB CRACKING LIKE THAT. THIS IS A LIE BECAUSE THIS ISSUE WITH THE TUB HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR QUITE SOMETIME AND TO SEVERAL CUSTOMERS AND NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT IT BY KOHLER. EVEN AFTER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ANSWERED BY THE COMPANY ON THESE REVIEWS, SHAME ON YOU. NOW AFTER A $10,000 TOTAL REMODEL, I HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET TO HAVE THE CONTRACTOR TO COME OUT AND RIP MY TILES OFF, REPLACE THE TUB , TAKE MY TOILET OUT AND MY SINK AND BASIN. THIS UNACCEPTABLE.
