This is a great soaking tub. Very attractive and really makes a bathroom look like a spa.

Definitely purchase

Really love this tub and have taken a bath in it at least every other night since installation. Nice and deep, great to soak in. Two things to be aware of:
1) The wall side has almost no ledge at all. In the images online  it looks like it has a nice ledge of an inch or two but in reality there is no ledge, it's right up against the wall.
2) The outside edge is beleved/slanted. This doesn't matter unless you are using a hinged glass door like we are. It makes it challenging to keep a seal on the bottom if the door is to swing OUT. We at first thought we wouldn't be able to open it. 
3) Pretty steep back when you are leaning back in this tub. It's great because it makes it longer, but not the most comfortable. I am 5'4 and do wish it were a little more angled for comfort.

Overall great tub

Great tube my last one was 22 years old, so we got another one to replace it. Still a quality product.

Same issue as others have had with cracked tub. The tub has developed some cracks like others have mentioned. Will need to rip out the tub and will cost thousands to replace. Will be looking to replace the tub.

Cracked tub like others

Originally purchased this tub as part of a full bathroom renovation. After 4 years the tub developed multiple cracks. After contacting Kohler I was granted an exception to their warranty and received a new tub. HOWEVER, I had to pay thousands to have the tub actually installed and the tile around the tub to be reinstalled. Here I am....5 years later and the tub is cracked again!! It is cracked in multiple places. This tub is a piece of garbage and I am extremely angry that I now have to shell out thousands more to have this replace again. No one should have to shell out thousands of dollars every 5 years!! I will NEVER buy another Kohler product as long as I live!

My tub cracked down the length of it significantly after just 5 years.This is unacceptable and could cause serious damage to my home not to mention that I will now need to ugly seal this and then have to rip out the tile surround to replace it. 

I have no idea what to do next because it seems that I will have to gut my bathroom to replace the tub.

I bought this tub 6 years ago and had it professionally installed and it cracked a few months ago. We had it professionally repaired and it just cracked again. Very disappointed!

Cracked Tub

I was so happy to buy this tub.  It had everything I could ever want.  Unfortunately, when I received the tub and examined the slotted overflow valve, I was terribly disappointed when I saw how setback and narrow the opening was.  In the community where I live, it was determined I could not use this tub with that drain because it does not accommodate a plumbing snake in the event there is a clog.  I really wanted this tub but because I’d this design flaw, I cannot use the tub at all and now I am stuck with this tub and can’t even use it.  I wish Kohler made this evident when purchasing the tub.  It truly is the only tub with this type of drain, so I can’t even swap the drain out with a different type.  Kohler please help.  I am stuck with an expensive tub due to your poor design.

the tube shape looks good. But the tube does not look sturdy enough not to flex when you step in . 
Also more importantly, the walls of the tub are not straight, then are concave, and such in both dimensions:
1. On the floor (the front if you'd like). So I am not sure how to tile a rounded shape.
2. On the side. Concave as well. not sure how to lay down bull nose.
