It worked great until it didn’t. Now it won’t charge or won’t work. Hard to know since there is not reset button. Buy at your own risk.

Dead within a few months

Love love love the trash can! I like how it fits any 13 gallon trash bags too.

Touchless

Pretty good, bought it about 3 months ago and so far I've only have had to charge it once. With the light on the rim it gives you quite a bit of warning of the battery running low (I ignored it for a couple days and the lid kept working).

Feels Upscale

The touchless kitchen garbage can we purchased works well. These are hard to find with the criteria that was important to us.
 For us, it was important to have an inner hard liner that could be removed from the can itself. this allows easier cleaning when needed and security if the trash bag broke. Some models we saw online were open at the bottom of the can which could allow leaking onto the floor. When we needed to replace our kitchen can that had been damaged (older off brand from amazon)  they were no longer being made with the plastic removable liner.
Kohler was the only manufacturer that had the inner plastic liner. 
The price is high but again it was the only can that we wanted to have in our kitchen
The only drawback for me is the batteries are rechargeable. I would have preferred using a system with regular alkaline batteries. 
However, the charging interval has been very good and no concern at this point. it appears well made (and should be for the price) and still looks good after a few months. I would purchase again

Good garbage can

Lid wont open all the way. Battery wont stay charged. Contacted kholer about it they told me they would send return label. Took all my information from me then ghosted me. For the price this thing should be awesome and service outstanding. But it's not and kholer does not care about their customers. I am sure I am out of warranty now that kholer ghosted me.

Do not buy.

Love this trash can! Works great! Easy to wipe down and holds a full sized bag nice and open.

Touch less garbage can

I really wanted to like this trash can because it looks great and the touchless feature works well in open spaces. Unfortunately, the lid will not stay closed when placed inside a kitchen cabinet. Every time I tried, the motion sensor kept detecting the door or the walls and would immediately reopen the lid, leaving it stuck open.

It works fine if left out in the open, but that defeats the purpose for anyone wanting a hidden trash solution. For the price, I expected more flexibility in the sensor design.

Sleek design but not cabinet-friendly

I absolutely love this garbage can! It arrived perfectly packaged and was a breeze to set up and charge. What I appreciate most is how it’s completely enclosed, keeping odors at bay. The automatic lid closes after three seconds, but you 
can also manually tap the button to open or close it if you prefer not to wave your hand. Another great feature is the red light that turns on when it’s time to recharge, which is super convenient. The handle on the back makes it easy to move around, and there's a small hole in the inner container so the bag doesn’t puff up, making it easier to use all of it. Overall, this is hands down the highest quality garbage can I’ve ever used!
