Garbage disposals are not a product you expect to give a lot of attention. They do their job and keep things tidy in the kitchen without much fanfare. It is different with the Kohler Reckon. First, it’s a lot quieter than the brand I replaced. It powered by a tap button on the counter vs a wall switch which I find convenient. I replaced the stock flange with a polished chrome Kohler product (purchased separately) to match my Kohler sink drain flange. I should mention that we installed a Kohler porcelain 40/60 double sink too. Overall the new Kohler products elevate the kitchen look and are well worth the investment.

New Reckon Disposal

Great design, easy install, love the small footprint

Kohler Reckon Disposal In Kitchen Redo

It's so fast and quiet! My old one was supposed to be quiet, but this one is amazing—you can barely hear it unless you're right next to it! It chopped everything so quickly, I only needed to run it for a minute or two. Definitely worth the noise reduction alone! I've told my whole family they NEED to upgrade. Worth it! 💯🙌 #KitchenUpgrade #GarbageDisposal #QuietAppliance #HomeImprovement #NoiseReduction

Works quietly and fast

I'm so glad we have received this complimentary from Influenster and Kohler for review. My husband was able to install this and I needed to assist for a couple minutes but just as he was trying to ensure he had it right. It isn't very loud even when grinding. It takes up space underneath as seen but we can still put everyone. This has been great for our family and I truly appreciate it it more than I knew I would. I definitely recommend.

I wish I had one sooner I love it

I recently upgraded to the Kohler Reckon 1HP Garbage Disposal, and honestly, I’m so impressed! As someone who doesn’t love dealing with kitchen appliances, I was so relieved to see that the installation guide was super easy to follow, however; I ended up hiring someone to put it in. Totally worth the peace of mind.

The durable stainless steel makes it feel really high-quality and sturdy. You can tell it’s built to last. I also love how much quieter it is compared to other disposals I’ve had before.
The 1HP heavy-duty induction motor really does power through tough food waste. I’ve put some pretty chunky scraps in there, and it just grinds them up with ease. Plus, with a large grind chamber, I don’t have to worry about it filling up too fast.

One of my favorite features is the two-stage grind system—it breaks everything down into smaller pieces- I haven’t had any clogs! The continuous feed is super convenient, too. I can just keep adding scraps as I go.

The auto-reverse function is another smart touch. It helps prevent jams and makes sure that the grind elements wear evenly, so it should last longer without any hiccups.

All in all, I’m really happy with this disposal. It’s powerful, quiet, and seems built to handle whatever I throw at it. If you’re looking for a solid, easy-to-install garbage disposal, this is definitely worth considering!

Highly recommend- Powerful, quiet, and durable.

Super easy to install, just like any other garbage disposal. There is noise but bare, it’s not loud like a lot of others. And it performs fantastic no issues

Great!

Super edited to try. Heard that the instillation is amazing and it has good maintenance as well as durability. I am so exited to try it and for
My sink to have a brand new friend!

Super nice

Installed this the other day, and it’s been great. It’s powerful enough to handle food scraps without any trouble, and it’s quieter than I expected. I like that it doesn’t clog easily and feels really sturdy. Setting it up wasn’t too bad either. I am very impressed and doesn’t compare with others I’ve tried.

Impressed

I needed a new garbage disposal so this was perfect. Easy to install. Built well so it will not break or jam. It’s not very noisy. Works great. I would recommend it.

Great Garbage Disposal

This was very easy to install. I have never switched out a garbage disposal and I was actually able to do this myself with the instructions included. I actually didn’t think it was working correctly because it’s so quiet. This works great and quickly cleans the sink out. This is a must have and I’m sad I didn’t update my garbage disposal sooner.
