Don't Purchase

Remodeled our kitchen - project wrapped up 2 months ago.  Had visited Kohler Design Center in Sheboygan WI. Remembered the beautiful accessories and knew we would like the versatility they would offer. Love it’s utilitarian design and function.  We use it daily in a variety of ways.  Fits the space beautifully- we receive many compliments.  So glad your design team thinks beyond basic offerings.

Great addition to Riverby Sink Ensemble

I bought this cutting board and I am really happy with it. The board fits exactly into our Kohler sink. It is well made and really beautiful addition to our kitchen. .

This is a replacement for one we had previously which lasted maybe 5 years, though it had gradually been starting to warp and split fairly at the joints early on.  It also got black in various locations from mold.  Now, because it is wood, we know not to let it stay wet for long periods of time, but it is a kitchen sink item, used for washing and cutting up vegies, etc. - it is a bit difficult to dry these things immediately each and every use.  And I do use cutting board oil on it pretty regularly, to try to keep it in good condition and somewhat water-repellant.  Finally started getting more split at every joint, gross and unsanitary so it was time to get a new one.  The new one looked better because it had more slats than the earlier one, but now, early on, it also is getting warped and splits are just starting.  And I've been more diligent about the oiling and drying.  It's too bad because these are nice looking as well as very functional.  If they had these same pre-fitted over the sink cutting boards in the white plastic material often used for cutting boards, I would get one in a heartbeat.

Great Idea and Attractive, But Doesn't Last

Very nice cutting board and fits our Kohler sink perfectly.  I do worry about the durability and after a few months of lots of uses, it is fine.
