We have this model, and within a short four years, It started leaking. Kohler does not provide full replacement, but instead, offers a lifetime of "replacement parts" or "repair kits" to fix broken products. Either way, you are stuck with paying for a plumber to come out--hoping that with the 'replacement' sent, your problems will be solved. Ridiculous. The product gets stars for looks though as it is a clean design.

LEAKS

Had a leak on my 15 year old version and couldn't get it off without scratching it and some damage. Kohler helped me remove it and replaced it free since it was not able to be replaced with out damage.

great faucet and great company

I have had this faucet about 10 years and have had to have a plumber replace the inner parts about every 6 to 10 months. Right now, it leaks water all over my counter top and I'm asking Kohler for a replacement faucet. I'd like a different faucet but I'd settle for a replacement. I agree with every one of these poor reviews. Every time the plumber has to fix it, I pay $150. Just doesn't seem worth it. I bought Kohler as I thought it was the best.

Poor performance year after year of replacing parts

Had this for about 9yrs and after about a few years began leak. I replaced the O-rings and plastic bushings and it worked ok. A few years later, same leak. Bought new parts as previously. But when completed; leaked all over. I turned off water and could see that the O-rings and bushings were different now, even though I purchased the exact same Kohler part number. Since then I am using the old parts. My plumber agreed when he took a look! Now the "bonnet" over the unit comes loose every 2 weeks and needs to be tightened. Call Kohler? Nope they do not pickup the phone! Will never purchase again.

Terrible

The faucet fit under low cabinets. Looks nice and functional.

Basic and stylish and functional

I bought this faucet for my kitchen and have so far been very pleased with its use and also the side sprayer.

Excellent features

I installed my forte 10 years ago when we re-modeled our kitchen. It still looks a good as new. I ordered parts for it today, Repair parts are easy to install my self. I was very happy to find out my forte sink faucet has a life time parts warranty and Kohler will ship it free to my house! Wow!!

Great Features

Same as the other reviewer. Pro installed, started leaking. Installed Kohler replacement valve and still leaking. Got cut off when I tried to call the company.

Poor quality leaking faucet

Professionally installed model 10412-CP Oct 2017. May of 2020, faucet started leaking around the collar below the handle, worse in some faucet positions, a little less in others. Valve kit professionally replaced May 14 2020. Didn't leak for a day or two, now leaks with low-flow from faucet, but only when it wants to. Fickle Faucet
