The most beautiful kitchen faucet I found, figures it's a faulty design for the aerator. If there is a hack to fix it please someone tell me how.

The faucet sprays everywhere. We have cleaned the aerator with very little change to the spray. Very disappointing for the price paid.

Do not Recommend

The faucet has beautiful clean lines, which was why we purchased it yesterday from Lowe's.  Today looked at the reviews, so rechecked how it functions.  There is a clean stream of water, no problems with the aerator, and there is a good stream of water at full power.  Some minor splashing at full on, but no more than my old leaky faucet.  Good smooth change of water amount from slightly on to full on positions.  Only reason for 4 stars is that the base feels plastic rather than metal.

I expected more from Kohler. The brand new (never used, newly installed) aerator sprays water instead of coming out in a nice stream. We installed it correctly. I am reading that many others have had the same issue. I want to take it back to Lowes and buy a different brand. My husband is not happy; he has to uninstall and reinstall another kitchen faucet. Not a happy customer.

I purchased this faucet less than 2 wks ago from Lowes.  The overspray is very messy and I have wasted many paper towels cleaning up after washing dishes. I would not recommend this product because the poorly designed aerator turns into a bird bath.

I bought and installed the faucet today. Easy to install but I am disappointed that the sprayer dock is metalized plastic.  As I was looking at it I noticed there are no screws to remove the handles so how are the cartridges replaced?

This is a review of Kohler's "Maxton," Model No. R22869-VS, which I purchased May 8, 2021.   It splashes all over the place.  The water even jumps over the sink and onto the floor, but it splashes me before it gets there!!  What a mess.  I wish I had read the reviews before buying, but I thought that Kohler's reputation, not to mention the fact that it cost well over $100, was enough.  Then there's the $100 plumber cost.  This flaw seems due to a careless design attitude.  After all, getting the aerator right isn't rocket science.  (BTY, the plumber was unable to remove the aerator.)  Kohler, I'm reaching out to you and I sure hope you reach back – with a solution!   Sorry to be so negative, but instead of this faucet being a help, it is a hassle!

I'M SO DEPRESSED!!

My husband installed this just a few days ago. The sprayer hose is very stiff and did not connect well; it popped loose several times. We now have it zip tied to a water supply line to keep it secure. This greatly limits it functionality.
As others have mentioned, the aerator is terrible. It sprays water everywhere - it's not leaking, it just flows out in several harsh jets instead of an aerated stream. We removed it and rinsed it multiple times to clear any debris. If it weren't such a pain, we would remove this faucet and return it.
We both have experience with plumbing - we've installed dishwashers, sinks, toilets, multiple faucets....not rocket science.

Like most of the reviews on here.  Mine is the same. Aeriator. Is no good.  I have installed many faucets.  First one I had like this. Brand new sprays all over.  I would not recommend it.   Would return if I could.   Get what you pay for.  Not this time.

I picked Kohler for the brand reputation. I liked the sleek modern look of the product, but was disappointed in the function. The faucet appears to be missing the aerator, however the base doesn’t even look like there is an ability to screw one one. The pressure is low when the water comes out, which is not a deal breaker, but the spray is messy and gets all over when doing dishes. I will be returning this faucet. I attempted to call Kohler customer service and it disconnects. I’m not likely to go with another Kohler product.
