This is a great faucet! We love the simplicity of traditional faucets. Not everyone wants the style with the heavy, high arching neck.

Good product. Nice water pressure and simple design. It is sorta small for kitchen but if that’s what you’re looking for than it’s great. It cleans up really well too!

So we put this into our actual kitchen and it was beautiful! I love this faucet and it was easy to install. It’s sleek, shiny and strong. It was easy to maintain water pressure as well. We only uninstalled so we could put in the new kitchen sink and didn’t want to waste this beauty on an old sink.

First impressions is it's a very sleek design that provides an overall elegant but simple look. Installation will be a breeze, it comes with step by step instructions which include pictures. I already lined this up in my bathroom but took it out while I epoxy my countertops. It's well made and seems very durable.

So, I recently got my hands on the Kohler Rival Kitchen Faucet, and let me tell you, it's been an interesting experience. First off, when I pulled it out of the box, the shine hit me like a spotlight. I mean, seriously, I could practically see my reflection in it! It's definitely a head-turner.

And speaking of the box, I have to give Kohler props for their packaging. Everything was meticulously organized and separated using a custom-formed cardboard insert. It was like a little faucet fortress in there! Each part had its own little nook, preventing any scratches or dings from things banging around during shipping. You know how sometimes you get a package and it sounds like a box of loose bolts? This was the complete opposite. It was clear they put a lot of thought into preventing any damage, which I really appreciated. It definitely added to the feeling that I was getting a quality product.

Now, that beautiful shine? It comes with a bit of a catch. Water spots. Ugh. They appear like tiny, unwelcome guests, and they're stubborn. I quickly learned that the best way to deal with them is to dry the faucet after every use. Which, let's be real, who has time for that? I tried a 50/50 water and vinegar solution, and it did the trick, but it's just another chore I didn't sign up for.

But here’s the thing that truly blew me away: the weight. When I lifted it, I had this "oh my goodness" moment. This faucet is heavy. Not in a bad way, though. It’s like holding a solid, reliable piece of metal. It feels like it could survive a nuclear blast. Seriously, it's built like a tank. I'm talking "outlive my grandkids' grandkids" kind of sturdy. I was genuinely impressed.

And then, after wrestling this hefty beauty out of the box, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the installation was. I've dealt with some kitchen fixtures that felt like they required an engineering degree, but this Kohler Rival? Smooth sailing. Basically, you just feed the faucet down the hole in your sink or countertop. Then, you slide on a rubber washer, followed by a metal washer, and spin this metal piece until it's snug against the underside of your sink. A couple of screws to tighten things up, and boom, the faucet was rock-solid. No wobbling, no shifting, just a firm, secure fit. Connect your water lines, and you're good to go. Honestly, it took me maybe, like, half an hour tops, and I'm no plumbing pro.

In terms of functionality, it does its job well. The aerator is great, and the arched spout makes washing big pots and pans in my deep sink a breeze. However, and this is a big however for me, I missed having a pull-down sprayer. I'm used to being able to direct the water exactly where I need it, and this faucet doesn't offer that. It does have the connection for a side sprayer, but that's not something I have set up for. And honestly, I really like having different spray options. Just a straight stream gets a little boring.

So, here's the rundown: the Kohler Rival is undeniably well-made. It's got that gorgeous, reflective finish, it's incredibly sturdy, and it works great for deep sinks. But, the water spot issue is a bit of a pain, and the lack of a pull-down sprayer and spray options is a deal-breaker for me. If you're looking for a solid, classic faucet and don't mind the extra cleaning, it might be a good fit. But if you're like me and prefer a bit more versatility, you might want to explore other options.

Such a pretty and sleek design. The installation is easy if you have any plumbing knowledge at all. This is very well made and sturdy, not cheap materials. Water pressure is good. Should last a long time!
