This faucet is very good looking and high quality. I was a bit disapponted after installing it because of how difficult and manual it is to get the spray mechanism back in the proper place after extending the hose. I really wish there was a heavier weight or even magnet, as this faucet would be perfect otherwise! Not sure if this is a defect or if this is intentional.

We purchased this faucet in January of 2021 from Home Depot. It was fairly easy to install and the faucet worked great. Unfortunately, we never got to use the soap dispenser as the bottle snapped off after filling it and fastening it to the pump. A clean cut right below the threads.
After about a year, the matte paint started chipping off around the handle. There’s some pretty significant chips now. Two years after purchase, there was a small leak in the hose when extending it. It seemed to be right near the ball socket where the hose connects to the spouts. It was terrible but would drip all over the spout. This year, it’s complete broken and leaks a lot when extending the hose. It sprays everywhere and gets our window sill soaking wet. I’m hoping I can replace the hose and spout without replacing the entire unit. If I can’t, unfortunately I will be going with another more reliable brand.

We’ve had this faucet for 2 years now. The black finish on the handle is wearing off and the hose is leaking. Not really impressed for a $400+ faucet

Looks nice for a bit

Despite "Limited Lifetime Warranty” for this faucet, when my Matte Black finish began peeling and flaking in several areas after 2 years, Kohler informed me that particular finish was not covered, only the faucet mechanism, but they offered a courtesy replacement. 

Although I’ll have to reinstall, that seemed like a very satisfactory response, and I’d definitely buy another Kohler product based on them backing up their product beyond the warranty. That’s one of the reasons people trust Kohler.  

As far as looks, style, and functionality, 5 stars, I'll downgrade my experience to 4 stars for having to replace/reinstall but Kohler going above and beyond to back their product, and I’d rate the stainless finish model, which is covered by lifetime warranty, 5 stars.

Problems with Black finish - but Kohler stood by their product

I bought this right before COVID and now. The head does not retract into the hose as nicely as before. I took apart the headpiece. Old one has a magnet in it which helps the final pull into the hose. New one does not and it is held on by plastic clip. New one needs help to fully retract whereas old one barely does

Beautiful faucet. Not matte and could come across looking a little bit bronze under the black but it goes well with my kitchen so I like it a lot.  Not super black.

Not your standard black faucet

Love this faucet! The sprayer has good power with 2 different modes. The hose has good reach. We have a huge sink and appreciate that. The black stainless is beautiful. We upgraded our appliances and cabinet pulls to black stainless and absolutely love the look. It’s easy to clean. Very happy with this purchase.

Love this faucet!

I bought this to replace a faucet with a plastic cartridge when that failed (I think it was a Delta).  The ceramic cartridge seems much more reliable :-)  Everything works very smoothly-the handle, the faucet head, the spray function.
Like another review below; there is a weakness--the magnetic latch that holds the faucet head into the faucet neck failed after about two and a half years.  To their credit, Kohler replaced it without much fuss.

Well built, but one weakness

The faucet is beautiful and matches our kitchen style. However, after a month the matte black paint started to bubble. It didn’t bother us until a few months later all the bubble started peeling off. I thought the material would be better quality than cheap paint on. How do I fix this?
