I bought a house with this sink. I have no idea why anyone would chose a divider. You cannot rest a big pan with a handle in this sink without wrestling with it diagonally. The sink is well made but the concept is like a three wheeled car.

A dysfunctional sink

I have had this wonderful sink for 25 years.  It stands up to lots of use and very efficiently handles large parties and simple family meals.  I recommend this sink.  Having a smaller and raised sink is nice to do small batches of dishes including scraping plates into the garbage disposal. The larger side is great for big pots and pans and stacks of larger dinner plates.  I am needing a new sink drain basket for the larger side and can't find it at hardware stores or online. If anyone knows where this custom basket size is please advise.

Wonderful sink!

I have had this sink for 14 years. It is a fabulous combination. It is *very* deep though. If doing it over, I would have the cabinet installers raise the island a couple of inches (and I'm only 5'3").

Executive Chef

Purchased 1 Year ago and have spent more time cleaning sink than washing dishes. Rinse off a spaghetti dish and entire bottom of sink is stained orange. Necessary to use Bar Have had this sink for a year and spend more time washing sink than dishes. Don't dare rinse off a spaghetti plate in this sink as the entire bottom of sink turns orange and requires Bar Keepers Friend to return to white color. Most items placed in sink leave Black/Gray scratches on surface requiring more Bar Keepers Friend to return to white. After spending more than $1000.00 for this inferior product I would never purchase another Kohler Product.

Worst Sink Ever !

Awesome, heavy, Hi/Lo sink.  Hi lo sinks difficult to find, left (low) side large and right (high) side impossible to find.  Our Dishwasher is to the right of the sink were the garbure disposal is located.  Literally, Kohler is the ONLY supplier to make these particular characteristics.
On top of all the goodness above, the porcelain on cast iron proves to be more durable than the granite composite.  Every granite composite review we viewed indicated some type of complaint of surface degradation.  Many were because the user didn't read/follow the care and use instructions which stated bleach and/or abrasive are NOT to be used.  No soft scrub, no bleach, no 'harsh' chemicals, what ever those are.  The wife acquired some foam mats that keep everything off the porcelain, eliminating chips and scars.  We could not be happier with the production finish and the anticipated long useful life.  While considerably more expensive than the granite composite sinks, our POV is we will enjoy this one for many years to come.  Be advised that some who reviewed this sink indicated poor quality of the finish.  Having read these 2-4 year old reviews, we inspected our sink on arrival.  Kohler has evidently corrected the quality problem as ours is perfect, no flaws.

Hi/low, porcelain on cast iron, undermount in black checked all the required boxes for our kitchen remodel.

I've had three of these things but this is the first time it was undermount. It's an excellent sink the right hand sink is shallower than the left hand one I wish they still offered it. They were discontinued 3 years ago. You can only find remaining stock in a certain warehouses.

Executive Chef is the best!

I have had a Kohler executive chef sink for almost 15 years, we loved it excellent sink!
water damage to kitchen forced a remodel. We loved the sink so much we ordered a new one, it was flawed so I returned it ordered another one it was delivered just in time for countertop installers to install the sing under the counter. After the sink was installed the next day I was cleaning the sink and noticed 3 areas where the enamel was bubbled up and very thin absolutely unacceptable! and it was my second Kohler sink first one was flawed the second one was even worse.  Called Kohler and sent them pictures of the 3 blemishes in the now installed sink.  They said that they had never seen anything this bad. They offered to replace the sink with a new if I removed and returned the blemished one first.  I explained that their under counter sink was installed under $7000 of quartzite countertop and my countertop installed could not remove the sink without damaging the quartzite.  Kohler said you and your installers should have noticed the blemishes before you installed it. The new Kohler executive chef sink was redesigned since i bought my first one about 15 years ago.  The redesign was done poorly and the quality of the sink in general is sub standard compared to the original 

I was a big Kohler fan until this happened now i am stuck with a high dollar (one of the most expensive sinks you can buy) sink with major blemishes in it. 
Kohler basically put their inept quality control issues on me and my installers and will not cover expenses to replace the sink!!

I am done with Kohler!!
