I just completed a kitchen remodeling project, and this Kennon 33" sink in matte black is the centerpiece.  Unfortunately after a month of use it's also the biggest disappointment.  The "Neoroc" material is main issue.  It has a textured surface and feels very much like plastic.  All I was able find out is that the "rock" part of the produced is ground quartz filler with a "resin" binder - but no information available as to what that resin is made of.  Basically, to the touch it feels like plastic.  I wash dishes in the sink and do not use a dishwasher, so durability is a big selling point.  Just a few days in I found that a knife blade dropped against the edge of the material leaves a scar.  All in all, Neoroc has to be babied - recommendations are to wipe it down after each use.  Water puddles in the basin and simply will not dry - like the difference between air-drying a freezer container and a porcelain plate.  Porous surface, I guess.  Probably not a fatal issue, it's just annoying.  It's installed now, so I'm stuck with it, but if I were starting over I would choose a stainless steel sink. The one I replaced was 50 years old and fully intact; not optimistic that this sink will be here anywhere near that long.  At this rate I'll just have it pulled out at some point and replaced with steel.  I don't want I sink that I have to treat like it's delicate...

Disappointing sink; feels like plastic

Love this sink. It is large enough to accommodate the largest of my pots and pans.

I have had this sink going on 6 years.  With in a 3 months I had some pitting. I sent pictures taken with a ruler and highlighted the pitting and customer service kept asking for more pictures so I threw up my hands.  The sink is supposed to be ultra durable but now the the surface around the drain is beginning to show wear.

Very Unhappy with Sink

I’m not sure quite how to answer this.   I have returned the brown sink and purchased another Kohler sink in a light gray.  Very similar in size and shape and I love it.  The deep sink is fantastic

Love the appearance and depth of the sink.

I ordered this sink twice through Home Depot and both times it arrived with cracks so unable to install. Hoping third time is the charm. I ordered directly through Kohler this time. My quartz is already cut for the sink template and my project has been delayed for weeks.

Questioning

[Employee of kohler] Additional hole for soap dispenser was very easy to punch out. Sink fit right in existing hole when old one was removed. Deep basins are super nice. Material is very hard/durable. Before and after pictures attached. Installed with Kohler Motif faucet and soap dispenser in matte black. This sink goes in with silicone and rests on countertop edge - you can easily do this yourself.

Awesome Sink

Sink is in and performing decently.  Draw backs encountered if surface mounted the sink has to be held down with sealant/adhesive. Hoping I never have to change it out. The old clip tydowns would have been better, the other encounter was the strainers seating could be alot better on such a slippery surface also the back placement is a bit different but works is working well. As far as giving you one side with an inside rack, why not the other for 450$. In ending, all is in and is what is expected' though a bit surface slippery. Would buy again.
