I have had this sink installed and started using it for 1 week now. And there is already rust near the edges of the sink! I have tried all kinds of things to remove it. And nothing. its stained for good!  Why is this so crappy!?

Already Rust

I always wanted a single container sink for large pots and pans. This sink is excellent for that and also it was easy to install. My biggest complaint is the silicone mat and how it leaves marks (dots) on the bottom of the sink. Otherwise the sink is great and everything else works great.

Great Sink at a good price (except ...)

I'm not a plumber, but I can easily follow directions. Just would have been nice to know I needed putty on the drain before installing. So unbelievably ticked off. Get it all going for water to just pour out around the gasket below the sink.

Horrible instructions

I bought this sink about two years ago. We saw it at Costco and needed to replace our old sink. Everything was great   the first two weeks and then it wasn’t. The water draining is terrible. The surface is flat and doesn’t allow for easy draining. The corners collect a lot of gunk and it’s super hard to clean. The mat has been my biggest headache. I do not have a dish washer but I cleaned it every time I washed the dishes. It still collected bacteria, even black mold, stuff that couldn’t be cleaned out. I tried running it under hot water, soaking it with cleaners (bleach, non toxic, baking soda) anything you can think of. I even tried throwing it in the washer under a sanitizing cycle and nothing. That wasn’t even the worst part, though. I figured I could replace the mat so I tossed the old one cause it just wasn’t safe to use anymore. I cannot find a replacement mat anywhere. They’re too big, too small, edges aren’t sharp enough. I would go without a mat if the metal wasn’t absolutely terrible and easily scratched. It looks hideous. The sink itself started rusting, too, even though I don’t let water sit for long periods of time. The magnet piece that holds the head in place also broke off after a year. I think others have expressed that the gasket in the drain doesn’t hold up well either. We have had professionals come in and the gasket still leaks. I’ve had a small bowl under my sink to catch the water since it was installed. The switch between the spray setting and regular setting overtime makes it the faucet leak as well. I have cleaned the faucet head thoroughly and it still has the same issue. Really disappointing and plan on uninstalling and getting a different sink. This isn’t worth the headache anymore.

Super excited… until

I had this sink installed less than a year ago.  The rubber mat on the bottom is hideous! The sink (stainless steel) rusts faster than it should.  The water doesn't drain efficiently and pools at the drain and in the corners. It doesn't clean easily.  And the faucet.  ugh.  It's super stiff and doesn't flex easily and when you use the spray function, everything within spray distance is going to get wet...   I'd LOVE to return it, but, I have to pay for a contractor to come back out and replace it.   I wish I had read the reviews first.  It Looks GREAT on the Costco shelf.  I wish it had stayed there.

Looks good until you use it....

I bought this and just installed over the weekend. Basket strainer broken and stripped in box. Sink has already scratched on bottom from washing dishes 1 night. Highly disappointed

We bought this about a month ago from a local wholesale shop because we loved the look of the deep, single sink and commercial style faucet. It was perfect timing because we are remodeling our kitchen. Got it home and opened it up to learn it was missing the mat and sink cover. We contacted the store and they are out of them. My guess is it was already returned once and made it back on the floor. We figured we could buy replacements for those two items. We used the template to cut the countertop and set the sink in it. We could see daylight through one of the lower corners in our sink. Now we are stuck with a sink that we can't install. Now we have to decide to spend money to have it repaired or lose the money on this one and find another sink that will fit.

Great looking sink, but ours has a hole in it and we can't install it. Also missing the accessories.

I've only had the sinck for 2 months and the mat is disgusting. It is near impossible to fully clean. Useless. I need to substitute with K-21616 Stainless steel sink rack  but it's back ordered and seems impossible to get. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed.

Decent sink, Horrible plastic mat

We’ve seen this for sometime in costco, it finally went on sale so we pulled the trigger. The best feature imo is the sweep spray head with the pressure boost. The depth really took some getting used to compared with everything I’ve had previously. The sink itself is a nice thick gauge and high quality alloy as you can’t get a magnet to hold. Details like the strainer basket locking in the open position are a nice touch. The silicone mat provides protection against scratches and breaking dishes you may drop. That mat was a issue with cleanliness at first then we started laying it on the top rack of the dishwasher about once a week & that seemed to solve the problem. I installed a tankless reverse osmosis drinking water filter system at the same time I installed the sink. Drilling the hole through that thick stainless was a bit of a challenge, thankfully I had a good carbide tipped hole saw and cutting fluid. I’m currently searching for a matching dish soap dispenser so it looks like I’ll be drilling a 1” hole in the near future. 
Compared with some of the overpriced garbage polluting the market I think $299.00 is a bargain. My wife and I  both are extremely pleased with the new sink faucet and filter.
