I wish I had read the other reviews. The tub spout is peeling. Kohler sending out a new one but I am sure it will happen again. Very disappointed in the quality.

Do Not Buy

Been using trim kit for over a year. The slip on tub spout with hex nut lock on is problematic with diverter on end of spout. With daily pull out of diverter to engage shower the spout loosens up over time and pulls away from 1/2" copper pipe resulting in diverter not being fully engaged and water shooting out behind spout into tiled wall thru 1/2" pipe opening. Water has run down wall thru ceiling below. Cost & Mess!!!
Would be better to have a threaded connection versus the slip on.

Poor Tub Spout / Diverter Operation

I purchased this on October 2022. It was for my hall bathroom, which my kids are already young adults. We used non abrasive cleaning products that are both ammonia & alcohol free.  The Diverter is not working, which means less pressure in shower head because it continues to leaks from spout while shower is running and the black paint is peeling.  Called in for customer worried I be given excuses or a hard time and even though I was disappointed Amy the representative reassured me Kohler would stand behind their products.  Yes I will have to pay for the repair but at the very least not to pay to have replaced what should still be in great cosmetic shape and working order.  We have Chrome products in Primary Bathroom and Matte Black in Kitchen and they work and are still looking new! I am going to chaulk it up to just a faulty faucet and be happy that Kohler is standing behind their product.
