Pros: The weight of the door is good if you upgrade to the thicker glass. The overall look is nice.

Cons: The rollers are uneven and loud, the installer said they are on the cheaper side and expected higher quality from Kohler. The two doors have different opacity in the frosting with the permanent one frosted and the roller door more see through. The black lines are not metal lining as we expected but instead black paint inside the glass. Installation is incredibly difficult and took our experienced contractor over 5 hours and continual frustration. 

Overall, it is an OK door for the price but left a lot to be desired.

Extremely thin glass. Feels very cheap and the water guard is on the outside and looks horrible. Not the Kohler product quality I was expecting. Very disappointed

Really noisy to open and close also didn’t realize you can’t open both doors. Towel bar is also oddly low. But overall looks nice

Decent

It says this door can be installed to be a left or right sliding door. However, this is not entirely true. I purchased this door with the frosted glass. I needed it to be a left sliding door. However, if I were to install it this way, I have to put the black grid on the inside of the shower. Then it just looks wrong in my opinion because it's just a gray shadow coming through the door vs a deep black like it is on the other side. I love the look of the door if I could install it properly. But installing it the way I have to, I hate it. I spent a lot of money on a door that I hate. To me, if you are going to say it slides both ways then put the black grid on both sides.

Not right and left sliding

I purchased the shower door because of the elegance of the design however, after just having it installed, not only is there a few things wrong with this product but for the price I paid the poor craftsmanship is definitely not what I expected. First off, I ordered the door to be frosted, It seems they painted the frost on the door Because you can see the brush strokes, not only that but fixed shower panel is more transparent than the sliding panel. Also, the description says you can install the door to open from either the right or the left. In the model photo, the sliding door is opening from the right however, in my home, my fixtures are on the left so I had them install the sliding panel to open from left to right, However, the vertical handle is fixed on the right side of the sliding door panel, So now my handle is on the inside of the door, and we cannot flip the glass around because the grill pattern is only on one side of the glass. Also this product has a missing piece which just another major inconvenience.

Very misleading

Excellent product, company, and support team! Ease of installation could be improved. Options to better support an out of plumb side would be nice. For example, the fixed panel side was about 1/2 inch at the top and leaves a slight gap for water splashing.

Nice shower door. I only gave it a 4 star because one of the doors is fixed.

Beautiful Showed Door

First, we got the door with black grid lines. We regret that b/c that accentuates things out of alignment. Also, they look cheap because they’re basically a sticker.

Second, the fixed panel has a defect chip, which happened during manufacturing because the black tape is on top of it. There’s also a black chip/stain (assume from the black tape) right at eye level of the door panel.

Third, the fixed glass panel has a bow to it that is the first thing I notice when I walk into the room. 

It was confusing to install and my husband is a contractor. He does this kind of thing all the time. I would say this is not for the average DIYer.

We had a delay in our bathroom renovation so this shower door sat in storage for a while. In our rush to get it done, we kept making compromises on this door, rather than trying to return it,   We also regret that.

Not pleased

When you read in the product description that “ Door can be installed to open to the left or right to suit your bathroom layout” it is quite misleading. Be aware that the sliding door must be installed on the same side as the shower head or the door overlap gap is facing in the wrong direction and water will enter the gap and flow out onto the floor. If you have a vanity or toilet that sits right next to the shower and is on the same side as the shower head this presents a big problem. I called Kohler and they were of no help and did not fully understand the issue. No engineer would review it and I was left holding the bag on a $800 purchase. These doors may be “reversible” for shower head location but are NOT adaptable to also allow for a layout where the adjacent vanity is on the same side as the shower head and access is blocked.
