I remodeled a bathroom from the ground up and everything I bought was Kohler. I have all Kohler products throughout my entire home and have never had an issue. These doors arrived in broken packaging and had scratches in the glass and on the frame. Fed Ex claims they received it that way from Kohler. The doors are nice but they do not feel as high quality as I expected from Kohler, and the shipment packaging was shockingly poor for such an expensive and delicate item.

While the shower door looks beautiful and we consistently received outstanding help from customer service, like the many other Kohler bathroom products we purchased for our two main bathrooms, we’ve had problem after problem with the bathtub sliding doors. With this item, one of the top rollers on the sliding door scratched the bar; the part holding up the hand-held shower hose keeps on flopping down; though the doors are supposed to be treated to minimize water stains, it absolutely doesn’t; and the black rubber guides that keep the sliding doors in place quickly show calcium build-up—it would have been much better if they were clear color.

Not recommended

Always top quality. This is our go to shower door for our clients. I even installed this in my home!

Kohler really delivers with this product. We always enjoy installing this for our clients. They love how well this door works and how easy it is to care for

I urge you *not* to buy these shower doors. Below is what I posted on Facebook and their customer service representatives told me to use vinegar to clean them. Well, why in the first place did Kohler recommend that I use *their*cleaner on them? And after that didn't work, they directed me to good old vinegar, which did not work. Please read my part about my water filtration system.  Kohler got back to me and promised to make this right but they have only told me to use vinegar, a cleaning cloth, and squeegee. (What do they think I have been doing all these years?) There is something wrong with the shield coating on these glass doors. Shame on Kohler. They are losing a very long term customer here.

I hope that someone from Kohler or this forum can help me. I posted only 2 stars (I was originally thinking only 1 star) but because I have had great success with Kohler products for decades I went with 2. I'd like to bump this up to 5 stars if I can get a solution to my problem. As I said, I have used and loved Kohler products for decades in various bathrooms and homes. Unfortunately, my experience with their glass shower doors has been less than stellar. About 4 years ago I renovated a walk-in shower and purchased Kohler glass doors. They were beautiful and I took great care of them by using a mild soap, a lot of rinsing, and frequent (but not daily) use of a squeegee. Then, after about a year, both doors developed a foggy coating on the inside. It looked almost like alligator skin and it had a rough surface. No matter what I did it would not come off. I worked with Kohler and used their Tub and Shower cleaner, to no avail. I got replacement doors from Kohler and, again, after a year, the same thing happened. This past time the *only* cleaner I ever used was Kohler's Tub and Tile cleaner, which I got directly from the company. Here I am with a rough, alligator surface again. The doors look cloudy, too. I use *only* plant-based soaps and shampoos, which are very mild indeed. My house has a water filtration system so hard water is not an issue. Could it be that Kohler's special shower door coating wears off? What is causing this? Any suggestions from Kohler or the readers in this forum would be greatly appreciated. I'd really like to keep my Kohler shower doors if at all possible. Thank you.

Absolutely do not buy these shower doors because they cloud up after a year despite regular cleaning.

Help! My glass shower doors are rough and cloudy again. They look like alligator skins!

I was disappointed to learn that this store does not offer exchanges or returns. The size I needed was out of stock, leaving me without a reasonable solution. A more flexible return and exchange policy would greatly improve the customer experience.

I was very disappointed. The store does not offer exchanges or returns, which makes purchasing very risky. On top of that, the size I needed was out of stock, leaving me with no solution. This policy is not customer-friendly.

Gorgeous.  What more is there to say?  I did my entire bathroom with Kohler, Gold.

We are still experiencing issues with the shower door. Both doors continue to move on their own from right to left. Kohler informed us that a local service technician would contact us to inspect the problem, but despite multiple calls and voicemails to the local service company, we have not received any response.

Additionally, this morning one of the caps on the top knob fell off and will not stay in place.

The door was installed three weeks ago by my local installer, who has stated that this issue is not related to his installation. At this point, we need Kohler’s assistance to resolve these problems.

Please help — we are unable to use this shower in its current condition.
