There is a fundamental flaw in the production of this shower holder.  The stem for the holder has again broken without any major force being used.  This is now the third time this has happened over the past 7 or 8 years since we installed this Artifacts holder in our bathroom - and (silly me) I have had this replaced the previous couple of times.  This time I thought I would make it known for anyone else that may consider this item to think again.  I do not recommend this particular item, and I am looking for a new one that will match our existing fittings in the bath - easier said than done.

Stem of the holder will fail!

Seeing similar issues from other reviewers.  The stem connecting the cradle to the main body of the piece broke off without any unusual force being applied to it.

Looks nice but not solidly built.

Worked effectively for 3 years, then the very thin, plastic holder broke off.

Brand new out of the box and it leaks right at the joint that pivots. We are now on our 3rd one being ordered. This is absolutely insane. Just a bad design. Water should never reach the area that pivots.

Leaking Shower Holder

This product looks beautiful installed, but is defective as several others have also pointed out based on the reviews. The builder installed ours ~1 year prior to us moving in, and it broke at the thread. I reached out to Kohler Support, and they told me that it doesn't hold up to their standards but since the builder purchased it, the warranty can only be claimed by the original owner. The solution...repurchase the $200 piece. This is insanity and not what I would expect from such a reputable company. Please be aware when purchasing this product.

Great Experience!

Like the other reviews said  we also had a problem with this holder leaking. Kohler sent us a replacement right away and so far it's working fine. Fingers crossed! 5 Stars for great customer service but I honestly can't recommend the product due to it's reoccurring problem.

Leaked

We purchased this product as part of a new build three years ago.  It was working great until very recently my wife went to lift the handheld sprayer out of it's cradle and it literally fell apart.  Seems like the pivot that connects the cradle to the wall mount corroded.  This occurred after 3 years of normal use.  This is not the type of quality I'd expect from a Kohler product.
