Sarah S.

I bought this 4 years ago nice looking but one day I was awaken by a leak coming from unit called plumber in to find out o rings are worn out which allowed water to leak into wall. They had cut open water to repair that also from water leak. Called Kohler to get warranty unit which they didn’t want to send after awhile with customer service the girl said ok we will send it out one time. After that I am changing unit over to one with threads no more o rings that can’t get at a normal store and kohler dosent sell prints either you need to buy a complete unit. Free a few years take a look at your unit and see if there is a small leak coming from bottom of unit because you could be awaken by a large leak in your wall. Sorry to tell people about my bad luck with this one item from kohler that I have so you don’t get awaken with a $2000 repair bill over two o rings after a few years.

Awaken to a leak

I purchased this and expected to have some adjustment within a typical wall distance. Unfortunately the adapter is too long and requires an additional $18+ adapter.
The method to connect when you have the correct length appears to be an easy install and is attractive.

Not adjustable and requires expensive adapters

Create a clean, low-profile handshower connection with the KOHLER Awaken wall-mount supply elbow. Its streamlined design keeps the hose close to the wall, allowing the showerhead, handshower, and surrounding finishes to remain the visual focus. Durable metal construction delivers reliable everyday performance, while KOHLER finishes resist corrosion and tarnishing. A slip-fit connection supports straightforward installation. Pair this wall supply elbow with an Awaken handshower, showerhead, and accessories for a coordinated performance showering system.

The K-98350 wall supply elbow features a low-profile design, allowing the handshower hose connection to be close to the wall.
