I have two of these Kohler Elate hand showers. We installed one with a Kohler wall cradle and hose purchased separately (we didn't want the slide bar in that bathroom). The other one was part of this "3-function" kit with the slide bar.

The hand shower itself is terrific, but the hose that is shipped with this 3-function slide bar kit is pure trash. If you purchase Kohler's hand shower hose separately, it's high-quality metal with sections that bend and flex loosely, and hang down straight. The hose in this kit is lightweight, cheap, and stiff. The "ridges" in the hose are just stamped onto a solid hose that won't lay flat. If you try to bend it, the hose just kinks like a cheap WalMart garden hose. If you buy this item, prepare to spend another $100 to replace it with Kohler's higher-quality hose.
