Agree with others that the plastic button feels cheap, though the rest of the unit feels great. Broke after 1 year. Hopefully Kohler sends a replacement part, but it’s been hard to get a hold of someone during their service hours (they close early central time, M-F only). Chat troubleshooting has been painful. If someone from Kohler reads this, checkout how Simple Human does support—easy online warranty replacements without needing to talk to a person.

Wish I bought something else.

I am deeply disappointed with this Kohler valve. After just about two years of use, it has started to malfunction in ways that are completely unacceptable for a product of this caliber. The water temperature adjustment has become a frustrating ordeal—it either shuts off entirely or offers no control over the flow, making it nearly impossible to achieve a comfortable experience.

What’s most frustrating is how a product that boasts such a beautiful and seemingly flawless design could lack the durability and reliability expected from a brand like Kohler. It’s disheartening to invest in a premium fixture, only to find it failing in such a fundamental way. Looks can only go so far when the functionality doesn’t hold up. I expected better performance and longevity, especially given the reputation and cost associated with Kohler products.

If this is the standard for quality, I have serious concerns about considering Kohler for future purchases. I sincerely hope the company takes accountability and provides solutions for what appears to be a glaring flaw in design and durability.

This shower valve LOOKS absolutely great, but the design is deeply flawed. It works fine, until one day it doesn't and suddenly you have no water flow. I'm about to initiate a THIRD warranty repair in two years.
