Replaced old Kohler shower valve having a rounded and notched handle with a newer valve with lever handle. Necessary because the rounded handle had become too hard to operate. Very watisfied with the lever operated valve.

Shower Valve Replacement

Great looking, and found my first purchase of this in 2005 and no problems suggests darn good products

Great 2nd Time Around

I have used Kohler for over forty years and they stand up for all products. Their products are built to last and have excellent durability.

Great company great products!

My second level handle has now broken. There is a cheap plastic female sleeve that connects to the valve. When the plastic breaks there is no way to shut water off without unscrewing the entire lever and using vice grips on the valve. This has broken twice for us. This last time, I was on business trip and was interrupt by my panicked wife. Plumber was in quarantine but fortunately she found neighbor to assist. Unless Kohler changes the cheap plastic to a better material, stay away from this. It WILL fail.

Cheap Plastic

The lever handle is defective as the inner plastic “female” section that is supposed to fit over its protruding counterpart is held by a very small screw, which has failed. Other reviewers have identified the same issue. Stay away from this product and I was unable to get any support by calling customer service. I bought a kit from a plumbing supply chain but it doesn’t match the polished satin finish of our unit. This is a bummer. Hopefully this review helps others avoid our more than unpleasant experience.
