that this stuff was plastic. yes, everything looks nice but this trim piece should be metal.

I had no idea

I purchased this for my kid's bath tub. The modern brass finish looks great until you touch it or water falls on it and then you have fingerprints and water spots; both were non-existent in the Delta trim we previously had which came at a significantly lower price. The cosmetic issues are something I could absolutely live with. My biggest gripe with this product is with the functionality of it. As mentioned earlier, this trim was installed in the tub where my young kids take a bath. With young children, we go back and forth from the shower head and the spout pretty frequently. One of the most mind-boggling design flaws ive ever seen is the fact that the diverter only works one way: from spout to shower head. In order for the flow to get redirected back to the spout, you need to turn the water completely off and then turn it back on. WHY WOULD IT NOT BE MADE TO WORK BOTH WAYS JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER TRADITIONAL DIVERTER IN HISTORY??? Had I known this was the way it functioned, I would never have bought it.  As someone who installed Kohler products almost exclusively throughout a new construction project, this was just one of the major issues I had with their products. You would think the premium price tag on Kohler products comes with ease of installation, functionality, and aesthetics ... well it doesn't.

Major flaw that you should know before buying.

I bought this a few days ago and I bought it because it looked modern, when my black trim arrived there was not white text on the hot, cold, off. It was just words carved into the trim with no white ink. Other then that it works fine

Cover made of plastic, diverter hard or impossible to pull to switch from shower back to spout. I thought I was going withthe pros.

Disappointing

I purchased this model to eliminate an extra diverter valve since it’s built right in. I’m very happy so far with its operation.
