I purchased a shower head, shower neck, valve and handle. The valve I purchased was suggested by the Kohler website when I was shopping for the handle trim. I found this helpful as a person without plumbing experience—it wasn’t until the plumber arrived to rough-in the shower that I learned the valve was not correct for my setup. The plumber had to install a valve that he could source locally so I had to return all of the Kohler components as they were not compatible with the installed valve. The Kohler return process is a nightmare-I lost a significant amount of money due to the return policy. This is especially frustrating because the incorrect valve selection was actually made by the Kohler website. I used to appreciate Kohler as a brand, now I will never purchase their products again.

Incorrect valve; terrible return policy

In the middle of our (only) bathroom remodel, contractor goes to install valve only to find it is defective. We call customer service and after much back and forth they finally agree to send a replacement. Replacement arrives, it’s the wrong part. We are now in this holding pattern and my household has no shower and this should have been completed over 2 weeks ago. Not happy and still don’t have a working part

Poor customer support

Great product, works well and as advertised.  Super important to do the 2 way conversion correctly - I had to get online to get the right install instructions.
