It is so hard to get this thing to
Connect to the Internet. Even after I pause 5 and 6 and drop to 2.4. And I have to do it every time there is an outage. It’s a poorly designed product. Surprised at Kohler for putting this out. No worth the hassle. There are better options out there.

Shame on you Kohler

I recently integrated the Kohler H2Wise+ Smart Home Water Monitor into my home setup, and honestly, it’s one of those "set it and forget it" upgrades that makes you feel so much more secure.
​The Setup & Design:
The unit itself is very sleek and high-quality, which is what you’d expect from Kohler. Since this is the "Plus" version, it’s installed right on the main water line. The physical device doesn't take up much space, and the build feels incredibly durable. Getting it synced up with the Kohler Konnect app was surprisingly smooth—the app walks you through the WiFi pairing process step-by-step.
​Daily Use & App Experience:
What I love most is the data! The app gives you a breakdown of your water usage, which has actually been pretty eye-opening for our household. It’s super responsive; you can see real-time flow and even track your usage history. It also has a "Freeze Warning" feature, which is a total lifesaver if you live in a climate where pipes bursting is a real threat.
​The "Catch":
The only real "downside" is that it’s hard to give a 100% verdict on its primary job—detecting leaks—simply because I (thankfully!) haven't had a leak since installing it. It’s like a smoke detector; you hope you never actually see it "work" in a crisis. However, just knowing that I can remotely shut off my water from my phone if the system does detect a burst pipe while I’m on vacation is worth the investment alone.
​Final Verdict:
If you’re looking for a way to monitor your home's "health" and want to avoid potential water damage disasters, this is a must-have. It's a premium price, but for the protection it offers, it’s a smart move.

Ultimate Peace of Mind for Homeowners

It was extremely hard to find the piece to fit the system. So connecting it was not as easy as it should have been.  It should come with all materials needed for the price and performs flawlessly. Battery life I’m not sure just yet but I will  come back once I can get a full battery  function out of it.

Should be easier to install

I really love the peace of mind that this brings, the app allows us to check on our rental property and it was relatively east to install. The app shows your data related to the water pressure and the average to compare. Luckily we have not had any issues but it offers lots of peace of mind. I would definitely recommend.

Peace of mind!

There’s no price on solid peace of mind. This, ladies and gents, is that peace of mind. Having complete control at my fingertips to avoid a disastrous situation is amazing. Setup is super easy (also love the convenience of the QR code scan option) and the app itself is simple, and easy to navigate. My home just got that much better!

Peace of mind.

Needed one thing to install and no Plummer but my husband was able to put it together without and issue. Connects well and it’s small enough to for under my crawl space. The application on the otherwise sucks because it alerts you of a leakage eve when th regular water or falter is been used. So pretty much anytime someone showers, wash their hands and cooks, it alerts. That’s the only annoying part.

This Kohler smart water detection system gives peace of mind when it comes to water leaks and potential damage. The sensors are highly response and detect even minor leaks. Alerts are sent in real time through KohlerKonnect app which is easy to navigate.

This system fits seamlessly into an existing setup.

Since I have this Smart Home Water Monitor and Automatic Shutoff Valve, it is like a stress relief from the water bill. I know it's accurate and protect my house from water damage by alerting me when I am away.

Thats amazing, H2wise can detect the water flow to your house, it will tell you if you have leak in the house by measuring the pressure and tell you straight to your phone. But you need to hire a license plumber to do it.

The device every household needs to have !!!

This is the most handy little gadget. We live out in the country and have well water, and our pipes tend to freeze in the winter. I can't wait to see how this works.
