Everything is fine with this seat except it is quite flimsy. When I sit on it it sags. I'm 165#s so this really shouldn't be the case. Should have gone with a more expensive version and would have if I had known more about this one.

Toilet seat fits perfect, works well but...

1st ill say I have had the same Delta toilet and seat for 6 years with zero issues. I installed this new Kohler toilet seat due to the age of the old one and cleanliness, this Kohler seat is terrible as far as sturdiness and hardware strength/structure. My old Delta never loosened not one time over 6 years, this new Kohler toilet seat will not tighten due to the cheap plastic wing like nut inserts that go through the bottom and connect with stainless steel screws. Shame on Kohler for cheaping out on hardware. I will be exchanging this seat with a Delta for sturdiness and safety reasons. 
Note: the soft close feature is useless due to the lightweight material and cheap plastic lid on the seat it just stays floating on a 60 degree angle.

Do not recommend, cheap hardware that strips out

Truth be told, the seat is a little bit long for the toilet, but it’s not long enough to be an issue. It was very easy to install and the instructions are simple and concise. The quiet close is most appreciated because we are nappers in this house!

Functional and durable design

This is an excellent fitting, snugly securing, quiet close seat and lift with an excellent finish that will upgrade even your most wonky, construction-grade, value-thrones - and upgrade it to an entirely new and updated look! 

Solid weight gives it a substantial and comfortable feel while seated, and assembles in under 5 minutes with a simple stainless bolt/washer, and tapered plastic fitting underneath. 

For looks - Best used with a Kohler toilet, but this adaptable and largely universally fitting seat will look great on most applicable brands.

Cure your slamming toilet seats with elegance!

The older I get, the more I realize that a good toilet seat is a worthy investment. Even with a new home, the seats provided were not up to par. So grateful for this seat and I plan on replacing the others in my home with the same. 10/10 would recommend

This Kohler Joist Quiet-Close Elongated Toilet Seat was wasy to install and I appreciate that it’s quiet-close so I don’t have to manually close it. It’s slower than I expected but still way better than the standard seat that my apartment came with.

I’m very happy with this toilet seat. The quality feels solid and durable, and the design looks clean and modern. It was easy to install and fits perfectly. The seat is comfortable, stable, and doesn’t move around, which was important for me. Overall, it looks much better in real life than in the photos and feels like a great upgrade for the bathroom. Definitely worth the purchase.

Great Quality Toilet Seat – Stylish and Comfortabl

I’m very pleased with this toilet seat cover! Sure, it’s a toilet seat cover… not the cutest thing in the world, but the quiet close is 10/10. Historically, whenever we’d have guests over, we got used to hearing a SLAM whenever guests would use the bathroom (my fault for not warning them but also.. weird thing to warn about, no?), but now we don’t have to hear the SLAM. It’s the little things 😌

I’m very happy with the Kohler Joist Quiet-Close Elongate Toilet Seat. Even though it’s made of plastic, it feels well-made and sturdy, and I actually love how light it is. The quiet-close feature is my favorite — it closes slowly and silently, which makes a big difference, especially at night. It’s also very easy to clean, with a smooth surface that doesn’t trap dirt. Simple, practical, and well-designed. Highly recommend!
