I wish I purchased this earlier.  Our small 1950's bathroom doesn't have space for the conventional style kids potty.  I was having to set it in the bath tub.  The seat style is great for the kids and comfortable for the adults.  It's very solid.  We've been using it for a few months, I hope it continues to stay that way.

What we needed

This is the third type of this toilet seat I’ve tried- I wanted a toilet seat with built in reducer seat for my toddler. I got a cheap one from Walmart- it’s fine but not as sturdy as our regular seat was, it was bendable plastic. It has a smaller oval seat that just flops down over the regular seat. I also got a Next 2 Step one from Home Dept. It was felt very sturdy but broke after 1 year. It was made of wood. It also had a smaller oval seat, but at least had a magnet so the smaller seat would stick to the lid. 
The design of this Kohler seat is by far the best! It is plastic, but very sturdy. The actual shape of the reducer seat is much better. Because it’s not just an oval, the front part of the hole extends to the front of the regular seat. This means your kid doesn’t have to keep scooting back to be over the hole. Also probably much better for boys standing to pee lol. I also love that the reducer seat is also part of the soft close. It doesn’t bang shut when you close the toilet. You just lift the smaller lid to open to the reducer seat, or lift the reducer seat to open to the regular seat. Easy to clean, best function and best look of all the ones we’ve tried!

This Koehler toilet seat has been a game changer for my husband and I when we have the grandkids here. We were not totally equipped for the little ones to use the “potty” when they would visit, but this has definitely changed that. I love the elongated options as I find them much more comfortable than round toilets. The wonderful things about this seat is the two options…one for adults and the one for kids. It’s stylish, comfortable, secure and multifunctional. We ate getting ready to replace another toilet from a standard round to a higher elongated version and will definitely be getting another of these.

Thank you @influenster and @KOHLER for sending me the Elongated Bowl Seat, This toilet seat is perfect for homes with young children and is like 2 in one toilet seats. The only problem was that the seat mounts wasn’t that easily to put together but overall it feels very comfortable.

I love this toilet seat from Kohler! It has a smaller seat for kids that flips up to reveal the regular size toilet seat. It is great because it allows kids to feel more comfortable and assures them they won’t fall into the toilet! It is a heavy duty plastic material which is easy for kids to open and close. It is an elongated seat so it does hang over the toilet, but that does not cause any issues. I wish I got this sooner!

Perfect for kids and adults!

This toilet seat was easy to install. It has also allowed us to take our daughters bulky toddler seat out of the bathroom saving space. My daughter is able to use this toilet seat independently which is great!

Easy to Use

This is a great toilet seat! My brother just had his first child so I gave it to him when potty training comes along. He was so grateful to have received it and it’s something he didn’t know he needed.
