Main Global Footer Experience Fragment

Started out with an American Standard 1.28 and had to hold the handle down for a full flush. To upgrade it to a 1.6 costed $40 for an assembly to get a $5 part. Replaced it with the kohler cabana dual flush. 100% better and our three five old great grandkids caught on immediately. Will replacing my AS one with another kohler very soon

Best family buy and features

This toilet is very sturdy and durable.  Unfortunately after opening the box we had to go and buy parts.  It has 2 flushes one for urine and one for BM.  At first, the 1st flush would not flush all the TP but after using it, it did.  I like how the handle has 2 parts..one for light flush and one for a heavier flush.  The seat is comfortable.  Overall very good product.

Great toilet but missing parts

The toilet was packaged very well and the instructions as well as identifying contents was easy. I installed this myself, but I believe the installation would be much easier with 2 people since the toilet is quite heavy.  

The assembly instructions were vague for the average person with limited plumbing knowledge, especially the tank, I found it difficult to attach tank to toilet due to the small space you have inside to recess bolts to toilet for the average to above average size hands.  

The toilet being heavy made it difficult to attach to floor flange with wax ring staying in place.

I also liked the fact guts of toilet tank was pre assembled but needed a little adjustment to get proper water level for a good flush. 

Overall I found the toilet to look Aesthetically pleasing, and love the delay closing seat! It took a total of 3 hours to remove old toilet and install new with one person. The toilet and tank are very well made and once it was assembled I was very happy with it. It looks great and works perfectly.

Beautiful toilet

We were in the market for a new commode for our master bathroom. We came across this beauty.  Looks great, came with everything! Seat, wax ring, mounting bolts. Works beautifully and love the water saver feature for number 1 and number 2.

Love it

I really like this for my home; it fits in well and is the ideal toilet. The setup was really simple and easy to grasp; I was able to put it up without much difficulty, and it was pretty obvious how to get this done. Because to the extremely secure wrapping, nothing was damaged during delivery. As you sit down, the seat is quite comfortable, and I enjoy the handle feature since it adds more to the toilet.

A great quality toilet

We absolutely love this toilet and there's so much to love! It has a water-saving dual-flush feature, using either 1.1 or 1.6 gallons per flush, the lower amount for small standard and the larger amount for the larger incidents that just need more water! The specs say that it can save 30% on water usage. It has a soft-close elongated bowl and lid and it is higher than the standard toilet making it perfect for the entire family. It was very easy to install and has all of the necessary parts included. My husband installed this in less than an hour but  did have to buy a longer hose because of our wall setup so that may be something to keep in mind. 100% recommend this toilet and Kohler always comes through with quality products! Thank you!

A perfect toilet!

This toilet is great.   It was super easy to install.  I love the comfort height.   I already really like the dual flush option so I can save water.   What a great feature!  And even when I'm saving water it will flushes completely and well.   Very high quality product and should last for a very long time!

Great!

This is a high end toilet made by the well renown Kohler brand. the Cavata model is tall and elongated which is perfect for even the tallest user. I prefer the regular flusher over the top push button knobs and I’m happy this model uses the most functional and less problematic flushing system. Really a high end product. Very happy.

Great design features

Who knew one could get so excited about the plumbing! This is a great toilet! Having the dual size flushes as options is convenient and practical. The flush is powerful but not too noisy so your guests are not aware of the goings on in the bathroom! I’d recommend and will probably buy another one!
