Purchased this toilet 4 years ago.... total junk! very loud to fill and now it takes a couple of seconds to start to fill. Once its filled its making an awful noise. Tried to order the fill valve and what a mission, even with the part number on item...still doesnt come up on website!

So glad i got this toilet tank which goes seamlessly with its base purchased separately.  so far loving the different system inside, rather than the traditional ball has this piston device that uses gravity to have an influx of water into the toilet bowl and around the rim,  The claim is that it keeps the toilet cleaner.  I could see that happening but only time will tell. Nice sleek design with an attractive curved front.

easy clean flush

I had no idea how awful our old tank was until we got this one. It's easy to set up on the bowl and comes with all the needed parts for inside the tank. The flush is even more powerful than our old one! The tank is also curved along the front which gives the toilet an "elegant" feel.

Brand new tank

I needed a new toilet and I knew Kohler is a quality product. I did my due diligence and picked this one. It uses 20% less water than the average toilet and still has a powerful flush because of its aquapiston technology.

Exceptional quality

I got Kohler's Cimarron 2PC 1.28 CC Tank as a set with Kohler's Cimarro Comfort Height Two-piece elongated 1.28 gpf chair height toilet. I love the sleek design of the tank. But most of all I love how efficient flushing is. Kohler says that this tank uses 20% less water with the AquaPiston single flush canister. I definitely noticed less water than a standard toilet would use but it didn't make the flush any less powerful.

Efficient Flush

We installed this toilet ourselves two weeks ago and it has been a fantastic upgrade to the one our builder installed.  This tank holds plenty of water and has a brilliant, convenient compartment to drop in our tablet.  No more aiming for the back corner of the tank, it's great!  The overall design is sleek and simple.  The construction of the tank is heavy and doesn't feel cheap at all.  My only complaint was adjusting the chain on the handle was difficult and I ended up pinching the excess chain in the middle and using a safety pin.  Done and done!  We will be upgrading the rest of the bathrooms in this house shortly.

Upgrade!!

This Cimarron toilet has a couple features that set it apart from the competition. One is the "AquaPiston" flush mechanism. Gone are the days of a float ball and flap stopper. This toilet has a cylindrical chamber around the drain that is lifted by the flush actuator. The seal is a lot more complete and consistent and you don't have to worry about the chain getting caught up from having too much slack. The second cool feature is Kohlers new "continuous clean" system. There is a tray in the tank where you can insert a cleaning tablet. Every time you flush, an adjustable amount of cleaner is distributed to the bowl. The system does the work, so you don't have to. 

This is a great combination of features at a reasonable price. It can be paired with the K-31588 or K-31589 bowl.

Great New Flush System

This tank was very, very easy to install.  Seems like it is a well designed tank that will hold up for years and years.  Exactly as I expect from a Kohler product!  It seems to be a veryy sturdy material that will hold up for the long haul.  Well designed and well executed

Another great Kohler product

The Kohle Cimarron 2pc CC tank is extremely durable and well made. You can see the quality and how well it is made. Our plumber had no  issues installing it. We haven’t had any problems with it and it flushes good.  The look fits nicely with our downstairs bathroom.
