I have both the original and this newer model.  The newest model is awful.  The control that is mounted to wall does not allow you to use all the functions.  They expect you to bring your phone and go to their app to adjust water temperature, water pressure.  The app will not save your preferences, so if you do not want to bring your phone to the restroom like me, you are forced to use factory settings which is cold water and low pressure.   The only feature I like on this new much more expensive toilet is the prerinse and self clean. Who ever redesigned this toilet and made the function panel that goes on wall really failed.  The original one looks modern, is clear and easy to use and allows you to use every fun from one spot.  Another failure is the lighting.  If you want music you have to have colorful, flashing lights that looks like a disco party and is tacky and unsophisticated.  Most people would like the original Numi toilet relaxing music and a solid light that does not flash obnoxiously.  I absolutely would not recommend this toilet again.  I bought one assuming it would be like the original and was greatly disappointed. Fergusons where I purchased it of course did not go through frustrating details.  Also it will never connect to Alexa, I had to get a new circuit board before it ever would work , this is for a brand new toilet.  Underwhelming on so many levels.  Kohler custom service is great, but have spent way to much time resolving all the issues with this toilet.  Until they correct these issue I would definitely recommend buying.

Horrible toilet for the money. Software is glitchy and some times it flushes sometimes it doesn’t. I reached out to service and they tried 2 times to fix it and it needs a new motherboard after a year, what a huge waste of money I’m so upset i bought this .

SAVE YOUR MONEY !!

This is beyond a doubt, the best toilet ever!! We bought the Numi 2.0 in black, and it is beautiful! The features are outstanding, it performs without a flaw. When we have company over, they all love it! It is a bit costly, but worth every penny. I cannot recommend it enough!

The BEST Toilet Ever!!!

Unfortunately cannot recommend this product. This commode has had nothing but issues since day one, installed April 2025, by a professional. Had bad computer boards, replaced by Kohler. Everything we lose electric product goes offline and refuses to reconnect, we even have a whole house generator that kicks in within 5 seconds. To get it back online you have to delete it from the app and your amazon account  and start the whole process over, last time it took 3 weeks to do this as the Kohler Konnect APP is so buggy.
Kohler tech has been great and they seem to have great compassion for our situation...that being said I feel I have a lemon of a $10,000 commode. 

Been on the phone with Kohler and was promised returned responses within 5 days, been well over a week and no communication. All of our calls and issues are documented,  just wishing we could get this issue resolved once and for all. KOHLER PLEASE RESPOND TO US AND LETS GET THIS RESOLVED ONCE AND FOR ALL.

Unhappy numi owner

I used this model at my brother's Texas home at Christmas. Thought it was ridiculously silly with all its features (LED lights!). When it came time to select a bidet for my Florida hurricane damaged home. I kept comparing bidet models against this wildly expensive and extravagant model (it sings!) and couldn't find any other bidet that made me as happy. It was my consolation prize for all we put up with in the floods and reconstruction. HOWEVER it arrived with outdated software. We are now waiting a month for a back-ordered chip to ship. And we may have a wifi issue being that it's pretty far from a router (words I never expected to utter about a toilet).

I bought this toilet and have had nothing but issues.. 
First, the gateway that came with the toilet had an expired certificate.. what that means is that you could not pair the toilet. Kholer service was great and had to send a repair company to replace the gateway.  
Then.. all kinds of pairing issues due to the fact they had a known issue connecting to iphone pro max models.. However they did not tell me on the call for 90 minutes trying to solve the pairing issue.
Next the app stopped working because it thinks Im sitting on the toilet when I am not , thus suppressing four of the feature.
One must ask WHY do they have most of the controls on a phone instead of a control bar like a Toto.   I'm not sure everyone would want to take their phone to the commode so they can use all the functions.
This is a monumental waste of time, money 
I DO NOT RECOMMEND
I DO want to say that every time I call support they are great, BUT I should not have to call as much on a very expensive product

A total waste of Money!

This Toilet is Awesome! The design matches our contemporary architecture perfectly. The features work for us eliminating the need for a separate bidet.
