Good overall toilet.  Nice vintage look.  I don't care much for Kohler's higher prices.  Even during the holidays, they only offered a measly 5% discount up to $1,600 spent and then only 10% above that number.  Also the black plastic seat, while a nice two-tone traditional look, shows every speck of dust in sunlight and easily scratches.

Decent purchase for a high price.

I have purchased and installed this toilet at least 35 times.  This last purchase was a disaster.  While the the two pieces arrived intact, after 4 orders through lowes showed up broken, this order directly from kohler was missing key hardware to install the toilet.  Specifically, the washers that are used to attach the tank to the bowl were not present. I  had to do the install on a weekend, and as a result had to use a different washer.  This was a disaster.  The bowl ended up cracking, and now I need to purchase a new bowl.  This is a great toilet, and my customers love it, and I take responsibility for the bowl cracking, but this has never happened to me in the past installations, I did nothing different, so I can only assume it was because kohler did not include all the proper hardware.  It is what it is, but if you order products from them, make sure you inspect your parts list.  This was happening a couple years ago, but it definitely seems to me that the quality of their products, and QA is not where it use to be.  I hope this is not the case,  but the experience with this particular toilet has been a nightmare.

Quality seems to be heading in the wrong direction

The toilet and the seat fit our design pattern perfectly. Excellent customer service. I needed the products quickly and they offered FedEx delivery at no charge. I wish everything were this simple.

Great product great service

I purchased this about 2 years ago, it has worked flawlessly. It replaced a construction grade toilet that would clog regularly, but plungers are now a thing of the past. I will be purchasing another one for another bathroom soon.

I got in over my head a bit with a shower installation and I cannot say enough about how professional, and available, the customer support team at Kohler was for me.  To me, Kohler is the gold standard with respect to standing behind their products, and in supporting their customers.  And I've been around awhile.
