The description uses the word chrome but it is all plastic. I have two toilets that malfunctioned because of this mechanism and the replacements are worse that the originals. Everything is plastic which doesn't work on a toilet. I will need to replace my toilets with a non Kohler product.

for some unfathomable reason, Kohler replaced the sleek design of the Button and substituted something that Delta/Standard would design. I have been looking for a replacement button nationwide to no avail. But we just got back from a S American trip and probably 75% of the hotels had the original design. If we had time and the language, we would have tried to buy one from maintenance. 
Please explain why you would design such a crappy replacement part.
