I thank Kohler for their technical support however even after replacing the entire flush kit my issue of the toilet intermittently making up water is better but not resolved. Clearly the lower gasket once replaced resolved the chronic make up issue however occasionally (several times a week) the toilet will make up water which would indicate there's a still a leak. The plumber that did the install claims that this is the yellow gasket casing the issue but that's been replaced twice. We've been in the hosue 4 years and never had a problem with the toilet until recently.

The replacement kit was easy to install and worked as described, very satisfied. I had the replace the old one as the rubber gasket was rotting and developed a slow leak from the tank into the bowl. I believe it was caused by prolong exposure to chlorine tablets for toilets when I was away for 4 weeks and it was probably too concentrated and rotted the gasket.

The Kohler canister valve assembly service kit was not easy to identify, as the color of the valve tube differed from the one originally installed in my toilet, which made it difficult to ensure I was purchasing the correct replacement.

Difficult to Identify Due to Color Mismatch
