These things fail far too quickly. We’ve had our faucet for about five years and we’re on our third valve already. I wish these things were made a little better.

Modest quality at best

Item was on back order. 7 weeks later when in stock Kohler shipped it to a home where I lived 10 years ago instead of the home address on the purchase order. Classic. Still don’t have the item.

Kohler mysteriously ships to old addresses….

In late 2023 we completed our kitchen remodel and installed Kohler's Touchless faucet.   Everything worked great and we loved the faucet.....until the solenoid valve failed just after 1 year.   Kohler customer support was great and sent a free replacement.   Unfortunately, 14 months on the new valve has failed as well.   Reading other reviews here I realize ours is not an isolated problem and Kohler has a quality control issue that has persisted for years.   We love the faucet but it is shocking that such an expensive faucet seems to come with an annual subscription fee for an annually failing part and the attendant labor cost, not to mention the inconvenience.  Disappointed.

Poor Quality Valve - High Failure Rate

This was just replaced for the second time last June 2025 and it's gone out again. Our condo hot water runs close to 130F.  Even though we try to be careful to not have the mixer not turned totally on hot, the solenoid failed in eight months. Kohler should investigate whether this solenoid is rated for water 130F or higher.

Solenoid Keeps Failing - Water Too Hot?

I bought this faucet in 2021.  The original faucet had a defect and had to be replaced.  This resulted in lost time between the original and second faucet arriving.  This also cost me 2 plumbing bills for the first and second install costs.  The solenoid went out and had to be replaced in January 2024, less than 3 years of purchasing the very expensive faucet.  Now in November 2025, the replacement solenoid has gone out again.  I tried using the online chat to get help with addressing this issue and have been on the phone for over an hour waiting to talk with a person.  This faucet is amazing when it works.  But working is a short lived experience for the money needed to purchase and install.  Very disappointing Kohler.  If only 0 stars were an option.

I bought this faucet in 2021 and it has already failed. The sensor does not work; I worked with the company to get a replacement sensor and spent 400 to fond out the sensor was not the issue. Never again

I had this faucet installed in June 2020. The first time it failed was 2022, even though the replacement part is free, the plumber is not. It went again last Saturday, so less than 4 years it has broken twice. Therefore, I replaced the whole faucet with a totally different brand.

Don't waste you money

We have been through 3 of these valves. They last about 1.5 - 2 years each.  C'mon Kohler your products usually last but this one is a lemon
