This valve has failed for the fifth time. I keep replacing it but there must be a design problem as they no longer make it.

No warranty which sucks because it breaks down within a few years and there is no discount when your have to get another one

Original Thermostatic Valve worked since it was installed in 2006. Had to replace the valve a little over a year ago as it failed, and couldn't adjust water temperature anymore. Replaced with new valve and all good up until a week ago. The replacement valve locked up and couldn't turn it at all. Now i am replacing it once again in a little over a year and the part with labor to replaced is approx. $600.  Since the warranty is only good for year, im stuck with paying for an expensive valve that would think it was built for quality since paying for such as high premium.

I bought this product less than six months ago. Not very happy. Spent $600. Didn’t work.

The replacement part sent by Kohler was not the correct valve.  Apparently, the correct valve is no longer in production and the newer replacement does not fit the existing fixture.

I bought this Thermostatic Valve Cartridge at the orange store about 15 months ago.  Their price was a little better than here, but the one year warranty the same.  We have city water and a softener, that is not the issue.  I'm the second owner of this 15 year old house and can't believe I could be changing these seriously expensive brass cartridges every couple of years. 

If Kohler can't stand behind their designs, parts, and manufacturing, there are better brands.  I'll just have to change out the valve system.  Ugh.

I can't believe Kohler only warrants for one year on plumbing
