Was so glad we could get this part on line. We Installed and working great!
Thank you!

So glad part was available!

Installation was easy following the online tip to compress the gasket in the freezer for a couple of hours!

I’ve the Gasket!

Installing this valve is no easy task. Tight space to work in. Almost impossible to see what you’re working on. A few tips: Mark the tabs of the valve with white out where their position is visible to you when placing the valve in opening. Also mark openings for these tabs on the toilet with a black Sharpie. The biggest tip is to place the foam gasket between two pieces of wood and clamp it down evenly. Put this in your freezer overnight. When ready to install place the flattened gasket on the valve and work quickly. The foam gasket will swell into place for a tight seal. I’d also recommend a couple of dry fits beforehand to get a feel for what the final installation with the gasket will be like. Good luck!

Installation is tough!

Our toilet is 21 years old and I had trouble finding what I needed to stop the incessant flushing. This was exactly the part. Only problem was the washer was too thick and I had to cut it down with a razor. After that all went well and the problem was solved.

Happy to find this

I'm glad I ordered it from Kohler so I was sure to get the right part. I'm very glad that I watched a couple of Youtube videos before I tried to put it in. Otherwise it would have been very difficult.

Just what I needed

Website was great, I was able to find the exact part I needed.
